Had a scheduled appointment for Thursday and I called to cancel. I let them know I was going to be reaching out to my Dr because she was leaving the practice. I was told by one of the receptionist that they were still going to bill me a cancellation fee even though they're policy state to cancel within 24 hours. I cancelled 38 hours prior. She said she was going to have billing changed me anyway. When I let her know that I didn't know my Dr had left she said that yes you did because it was posted 2 months ago in the office. I told her I hadn't been there for 3 months so I didn't until I say it on an email. She was very rude. I was given the number for her supervisor Jennifer who has yet to reach out to me. Apparently they don't know meaning of compassion. Go somewhere else if you can but not to this office!!!!!
It is nearly impossible to get ahold of someone at this location. I have been calling for weeks trying to reschedule an appointment and have received absolutely no response or callback. The receptionists are rude, and calls are either hung up on or placed on hold for 40+ minutes. I understand they are busy, and this has nothing to do with the providers themselves, but the lack of communication and customer service is ridiculous.
Dr. David Hirsch, South Texas Spinal Clinic (STSC) is the best Pain Mgt. Doctor you’ll ever encounter.
He’s real, he’s compassionate, he listens, he has a great sense of humor and a contagious laugh.

Doctor greenfield is very experienced.Love his bedside manner. The stack was very tentative to my needs.And very polite and very professional. I would recommend this practice in this doctor for any hip needs that you have.
I have had a great experience at the South Texas Spinal Clinic on Huebner Rd. Dr. Hirsch is the best, he talk to me about different options I could choose from, and he has a great sense of humor. I just saw him last week and he gave me an injection on my hip and by that evening I had no pain at all. Thank you Dr. Hirsch for everything.
I am a regular patient and generally okay with my care but making a new appointment can be like pulling teeth. No one answers the phone during business hours and if I leave a voice-mail, no one gets back to me. I've waited countless weeks just to make a new appointment and when I try to do it online there's no providers available. Kind of pointless, don't you think? Now I've got to wait yet again another weekend and existing in pain because i can't even get a new appointment made. 😒
