On February 19, 2026, I traveled from Peoria, Arizona, to Skin Science by Cynthia Price, M.D. (SkinScience Analytics) via Uber due to an unexpected vehicle breakdown. Prior to my 4:00 PM appointment, I proactively called to disclose a 10-minute delay and specifically asked if this would be a problem. The staff member explicitly stated it was fine and directed me to "come on in." Upon my arrival at 4:10 PM, however, I was informed the appointment could not be honored. Despite the conflicting information and the significant transportation costs already incurred, I remained professional and rebooked for the following day.
On February 20, 2026, I left my place of employment in Peoria at 2:00 PM to ensure I could fulfill the rebooked appointment. Although my transportation app indicated a 3:00 PM arrival, the commute was significantly impacted by heavy traffic and multiple drop-offs and pickups, extending a typically 30-minute Uber trip to two hours. Upon arrival, I apologized to the staff and explained that due to the ongoing vehicle complications and the extended commute, I could no longer participate. I expressed my appreciation for the opportunity and communicated total understanding when the staff member mentioned needing to leave for personal obligations.
While waiting in the lobby for my return Uber, the staff—unaware of my continued presence—began discussing me in disparaging terms. One staff member asked if I had "showed," to which another responded, "I don’t know what’s wrong with people, why would you keep trying to come, people are just..." At that point, I stepped into the area and responded, "I’m just what?" No response or apology was offered.
Does human decency and kindness exist anymore? To be chastised for making a sincere, costly effort to honor a commitment is highly distasteful. While I was perfectly understanding of the staff's time and personal schedules, the lack of professional discretion and the decision to ridicule a client within earshot of the lobby is a significant lapse in service etiquette and basic human respect. This was the first negative encounter I had at this location needless to say I am thoroughly disappointed in customer service.
I've been 3 times to see Nicole for my hydrafacial, dermaplane, prx facials. I always feel my concerns are heard and she is great to make the right recommendations for my skin. Im also on immunosuppression meds and they are good about taking that into consideration on what would be ok to use on me. Highly recommend Skin Science.

They’re so kind and were able to address the multiple concerns I came in with. Very efficient. I often feel like when I see a provider that they’re rushing me or don’t prioritize my concerns. I was so very well taken care of! LOVE THESE GUYS!
Forgot to leave a review from coming in the other day. One of your staff Shirley was super helpful and attentive to all my skin care needs. Her customer service was top notch! Really great experience!
Carla was fantastic at addressing all of my many questions thoroughly in a short time. . Everyone in the office was very friendly and helpful. Only suggestion is I really prefer not to be called by names of endearment such as “dear” or “hon “as I was by one of the office staff. Other than that, everyone was great . On time , courteous , friendly , gracious ,, professional , thorough and efficient .
Easy parking, very pleasant staff, super easy intake process (texting my ID & insurance cards? Why don’t more docs do this?!) and… Bright indirect sun & plants in the rooms 🤩 🪴 🌞 and Carla was patient & personable, very different from the quick in-and-out of most places. I’ll come here for all future dermatology needs!
Karla is the best! She has managed my complicated skin issues which has improved my quality of life. The practice is run so efficiently- my appointment is at my appointment time every time. Everyone is friendly and really listens.
