I cannot say enough good things about Rothman Orthopaedics and the outstanding care I received during my recent spine surgery. From the surgeons and physicians to the nurses and staff, everyone was professional, compassionate, knowledgeable, and attentive throughout the entire process.
The surgical team took the time to explain everything clearly, answered all of my questions, and made me feel confident and comfortable going into surgery. The level of skill, care, and follow-up has been exceptional, and I am truly grateful for the treatment I received. Especially a thank you to Alexis who is now guiding through the recovery process.

Dr. Mark Wang is exceptional, knowledgeable, professional, and inspiring complete confidence. I knew I would be in good hands from the time of my first visit. My surgery went extremely well, and I felt completely safe in his care. His A+ team at the Navy Yard surgical center were fantastic, from the intake staff to the nurses and assistants, they were attentive, helpful, and clearly worked seamlessly together. The nurse who removed my stiches was great as well (I do not recall name). I am so grateful to Dr. Wang and his entire team for their skill, coordination, and genuine care. Highly recommend!
Great experience at Rothmann yesterday. I was able to get a quick appt during which they took X-rays and gave me a cortisone shot for my left knee pain. Russell Hartmann, PA to Dr Deirmengian, clearly explained my options and helped me to decide what was best in my situation. He also told me to contact him again if I needed anything else. He was very thorough and informative. I will definitely be back if I need anything further.

The actual physical therapy office is solid.
Also expect to pay and then have collections sent after you so you pay more. That was a neat side adventure to deal with out of the blue years after a visit I have receipts for.
I went to this location TWICE and was refused care. The first time I drove over an hour and it poured so I barely made it in. A nice office staff showed me where the urgent care center was. Upon returning, she remembered me and personally brought me to Jenn at the front desk who was RUDE. She kept telling me "let me talk" last time I checked I was the patient and I know my rights. She didn't listen to me "called on my behalf" and meanwhile I knew everything she needed. Hopefully she is kinder to the elderly. My situation wasn't critical but I will surely be taking my situation to another facility. I fell twice and needed a good Ortho which is why I was recommended to Rothman. However I could not be seen even though I told her I drove another hour away. She refused me care.
I had the best care ever. The staff was avail. You use a patient portal and they respond very very quickly. The front desk where you sign in I found to be also very efficient. In house xrays were done in a extremely timely manor before being seen. There is hardly any down time while waiting in the patient room. The dr and staff were inviting and complete in the assessment and treatment.
This was my last visit with the dr for my rt shoulder. I am very pleased with my progress post op. I had asked about making a separate appointment for my left shoulder. But xray n mri was ordered and reviewed with dr lazarus on my last visit. Discussion on my left shoulder brief. But I agree with dr that we wait and see. Which concerned my with what was on the mri report. But dr assured me that surgery wouldn't be need for few years. I trust him totally and believe in him.
The jefferon surgical center and staff there also superior. Compared to the surgical center I was at few months earlier for a knee replacement.
You ever have joint issues. Dr larzarus and rothman orthopedics are and is the place to go. Don't hesitate if you are in joint pain go see them. They won't make you wait months. I was a new patient. I was seen 1 week later.
They are thoughtful and kind and are there for their patients.
