I cannot recommend Potranco Smiles enough! I recently had a crown done, and the entire experience was seamless from start to finish.
About 10 days ago, Dr. Ahmed and his assistants Emi and Madeline prepped my tooth and placed the temporary. They were professional, efficient, and made sure I was comfortable the entire time. I was already impressed then, but they exceeded expectations by having my permanent crown ready and seated today—just 10 days later!
Today, Madeline assisted with seating the permanent crown, and the results are flawless. The color match is to a tee, and the fit is absolutely perfect with zero issues.
If you are looking for high-quality dental work and a team that respects your time and comfort, go see Dr. Ahmed, Madeline, and Emi. Truly a top-notch team!
I love this office. This staff is amazing! The office manager Priscilla is so professional and courteous. She truly an amazing shes go above and beyond to assist patients and make us feel welcome, providing us with education and resources. The hygienist and dentist are amazing. I love bringing my children here!
Working with the dentists have great but working with the office has been a terrible experience for me. There is some major miscommunication that is going on. I was trying to get some itemized receipts for work I got charged for 2 months ago. I called for a solid month and noone was able to give me anything until someone FINALLY emailed me an explanation as to why my insurance doesn't have a claim. I understood the reason but why did it take 3 weeks of calling for someone to eventually explain the reason? I now went to an appointment to pick up my dentures but they didn't even have them. So why was an appointment setup for me when nothing was available? And noone knew who did it so apparently its nobodies fault. For these reasons I am changing dentists. Hopefully people have better experiences than I did.
It’s a nice surprise to see a new dentist for a checkup and cleaning and have them both done at the same time, at the time of your scheduled appointment. I’ve been to a few different dental places that drag out cleanings one way or another, having to come back multiple times.
Potranco Smiles was not like that. I was in a dental chair a few minutes before my appointment. X-rays were done quickly. Saw the dentist right after. Then got my teeth cleaned. Quick and easy! Best experience ever. Everyone was great. Found my new dentist! A++
Absolutely do not recommend. While I had no issues with my hygienist (the main reason I kept going), the overall customer service needs serious improvement.
On multiple occasions, they used my old insurance despite several conversations confirming my updated information. Scheduling was also frustrating—appointments were frequently double-booked, leading to wait times of over an hour, even when I had the first appointment of the day.
The final straw was being told my appointment wasn’t confirmed, even though I had received a call and confirmed it. I was told, “We have a virtual assistant and a customer service person, so I’m not sure who you spoke to—they must not have communicated.” That level of disorganization is unacceptable.
Additionally, the office itself did not appear as clean as it should be and could benefit from a thorough deep cleaning.
Overall, a very disappointing experience.
Called to schedule appointment over the phone. Was given a specific time and day my appointment was on. Show up on specific day and time as intended. Then they say “you are not on the schedule”… not the first time this location has inconvenienced me. Definitely the LAST time I will be inconvenienced by this location. I definitely recommend finding a more professional practice to visit and steer clear of this inadequate establishment.
This was my first time here and I can't say enough good things! The doctor was kind and thorough. The hygienist explained everything she was doing. They cared about my comfort and made me feel at ease. If you are looking for a great dentist I highly recommend Potranco Smiles.
They had a great hygienist before and she stopped working there. Unsure where she went but I would absolutely follow her. I went in today and did not receive a warm welcome as the staff all appears to be new. I guess they have high turnover. Once I got to the back and they started the cleaning, the new hygienist was talking to me as if I was not educated and made me repeat myself to her multiple times. She should learn how to talk to others like an adult instead of talking down to them. She should also listen would people speak to her. Maybe you’re not so educated lady. Will not be returning
