I am very grateful & extremely lucky to call upon Pinnacle Dermatology on this day 7/10/26. While visiting Arizona, my scalp was itching & driving me crazy!!... One call & they got me in on the same day to see Kristen Peterson. Kristen is experienced, knowledgeable and very kind.. she examined my scalp and knew right away how to solve this and was able to supply me with samples of oils & foams.
Immediately that evening after a visit to CVS, i applied all she gave me & took allergy meds.. ITCHING OVER!!. OHHHHHH MYYYY GOSH!!

Medical staff seems competent and professional, but I consistently have bad experiences with here. The doctor is always rushing through my appointment, and I have tried 3 different dermatologists. The last time I came here I wanted to get a skin check. I come to this office because my insurance is accepted here. I’m 23, and still under my dad’s insurance. When I arrived for my appointment, I found out I do not have medical insurance, but I was told by front desk staff that the maximum price for my appointment would be $200 out of pocket, even with a biopsy. During my appointment, I was not informed that the price would change. I got prescribed like 3 prescriptions, and, it was over $400 for self pay once I left the office. I feel like there should have been more of a discussion during my appointment about the charges, given that I had just found out I didn’t have insurance, the maximum cost estimate on the cost of visit, and that the biopsy and cortisone shot would be so expensive. It just feels like they do not have the patient in mind and that they’re just there to make a profit on you. I was concerned I had a cancerous spot on my skin and now I’m paying double what I expected. Over $400 for a 10 minute skin check.
I have never had a dermatologist who combines expertise, kindness and genuine attentiveness the way Kristen did. From the moment I walked in, I felt heard, respected, and truly cared for. She took the time to explain every step, every option, and every treatment in a way that makes you feel empowered rather than overwhelmed. The entire experience, from the front desk to the exam room, is consistently positive. You can tell this is a practice that values professionalism, compassion, and patient comfort.
Update: Trying to reach them via phone is frustrating going through the AI, the loop of automated system, then the callbacks go straight to voicemail because your phone thinks it’s spam when it isn’t that at all. You call and get transferred, rerouted, can’t get back to the person that called you. You get a bill via email and via text. None of it matches. Then you get told that not all of the charges are posted. I understand that the payment I made the night before my call might not be posted yet. But don’t send bills until at least all of charges are posted. I have no clue how much I owe, if I’ve overpaid or underpaid, or if the call will come through without going to voicemail because I don’t know how many numbers they are going to call from in order to add to the contract information in my phone. At this point, I don’t want to use them again because of this. I’ve had to spend too much time out of my workday just to possibly have to go to the office to get answers.
Dr. Fiona Hanly is friendly and a wonderful dermatologist. She took care of my issue and took time to explain everything and answer questions. Her staff is friendly and helpful as well. Thank you, Pinnacle, for taking care of me.
Darren West was fantastic. He listened, asked the right questions, and made sure i felt comfortable and understood every step. I really appreciated the care and attention.
We were greeted warmly upon arrival. Kristi greeted us and took us back. Kristi was very welcoming, very knowledgeable, made us super comfortable by explaining what would happen on our visit as well asvery patient with all our questions and concerns. Her follow up after Dr. left room made us feel comfortable as all our questions were addressed. Dr. West was super friendly, super comforting, and made our experience a good one. We thank them all for a very good experience!
I am a new patient to Pinnacle Dermatology. I was very happy with my visit. The office is bright and clean. All the staff members I interacted with were so nice! Dr. Fisler was very pleasant and professional. She listened to my issues, did a full-body look over for skin cancer, and wrote me some prescriptions. She also took the time to explain why she was taking me off one prescription and recommending another. I would recommend Dr. Fisler and Pinnacle Dermatology.
I had a full body scan and could not be happier with my experience. Dr. Tobin was extremely thorough and made me feel completely at ease throughout the exam. The staff was friendly and efficient without me feeling rushed. I highly recommend this practice.
