I cannot speak highly enough of the phenomenal care provided by Dr. Gotlin and PA Brown at NY Orthopedics. This is exactly what top-tier medicine should look like. Dr. Gotlin is an incredibly knowledgeable surgeon and remarkably kind person, and PA Brown is equally as knowledgeable, attentive, thorough, and genuinely invested in patient recovery. Together, they operate seamlessly to ensure you feel heard and comprehensively cared for from the moment you step into the office. If you want a medical team that sets the gold standard for orthopedic care and bedside manner this is the team.
I had two recent appointments with Julia Lekht. She is friendly and professional. She is very prepared and knew my condition and how to treat it. She also responds on the portal with concise answers and information. She is a great listener and has a sense of humor which helps me feel relaxed while at my appointment.
I definitely feel like I’m in good care when dealing with Julia.
Meredith knows her stuff! Today she removed stitches from my hand, and calmed my concerns about the pinkness of the wound. I was afraid it was infected- it wasn’t. She also checked the mobility of all five fingers and provided explicit directions on how to treat the wound going forward. On top of that, she has a very pleasant demeanor.

The upstairs office staff members were so friendly and worked together to resolve my child’s letter and future appointment. Dr. DeLaMora was super friendly and took time to explain my child’s procedure. I think the front desk usually sets the office vibe. They definitely have a positive one, which gives us ease in our feelings.
Horrible - the office could not have cared less about pain, my condition, or helping me, the doctor was sort of helpful but was brusque and had poor bedside manner - they offered me a split payment system which smelled like insurance fraud and on top of all that were unable for any follow up consultation or help during a period of extreme pain and stress. Please go elsewhere if you can.
Dr. Gotlin and his PA, Alexis, are fantastic! Extremely friendly and kind and was so comfortable receiving care from them.
Dr. Gotlin is a great communicator and provided any and all information about my condition, prognosis, treatment options and long-term outcomes I could have hoped for before I even asked. Because of his thorough communication, I felt fully confident in the treatment plan he recommended. When I went in for a PRP shot, the whole thing took just a few minutes. Dr. Gotlin narrated through everything he was doing so I felt comfortable the entire time.
I also appreciate how efficient he is. I imagined that getting treatment for my shoulder would be a drawn-out process with long hours spent at the clinic. Instead, all of my appointments were very fast. I felt less like a dumb sickly patient who injured herself (as I have felt with other doctors) and more like a regular person with a fixable problem; I felt respected and heard, and walked out each time feeling so grateful to have found this clinic!
The only less than awesome part of my experiences so far was how long I had to wait before I was seen by the doctor, which isn’t any worse than any other medical clinic. Although I also believe this reflects the thoroughness the medical staff shows each patient.
Highly recommend Dr. Gotlin for both diagnosing injuries and receiving treatment!
Lily, the PA at this orthopedic office, was amazing. She was kind, professional, and really took the time to listen and explain everything clearly. I felt supported and confident in my care thanks to her. Highly recommend!
