The registration system is electronic using a QR code. I was surprised that I had to input all the information again even though I had been to this urgent care facility 2-3 times in the past. I arrived first thing in the morning and was taken right away which was awesome given I was going in for a UTI. I was hoping the results would be provided quickly but I had to wait 20 minutes before the NP shared the results and prescription. The discomfort had me running to the restroom while I waited. (I wonder if maybe Medicare requires the visit meet a minimum amount of time in addition to purpose to qualify for coverage.) I appreciated that the NP took the time to explain the results, next steps, and prescription and asked if I had any questions. I downgraded my review from 4 to 2 stars because of my follow-up experience. The next day I called back to let the NP know I was experiencing some bad side effects from I think the antibiotic--nausea and raging headache. The receptionist said that an NP from a different agency was on duty and I would have to come back in for another appointment before changing the antibiotic. Do all urgent care clinics rotate NPs from different agencies so that patients are required to come in for another appointment if there is follow up to the original care? If this is the case, why doesn't the NP let the patient know about this policy in the event a follow-up is required? This is not transparent nor a patient-care oriented healthcare model.

I had one of the best urgent care experiences I’ve had in a very long time here. Even though it was quiet and I was the only patient there, I never felt rushed. FNP Charlie Vera immediately showed genuine concern, was very sympathetic, and took the time to walk me through what she thought was going on and how we were going to treat it. I felt heard, cared for, and not dismissed at all — which really means a lot when you don’t feel well. I will absolutely come back here for urgent care in the future.

I had a great experience at NextCare Urgent Care while bringing my foster children in for their 3-day physical exams. From the moment we arrived, the staff was welcoming, patient, and very understanding of our situation. They handled everything efficiently and made sure each child felt comfortable and at ease, which meant a lot given the circumstances. The provider took the time to be thorough, answer questions, and ensure all required paperwork was completed properly. I truly appreciated the kindness, professionalism, and compassion shown to our family. It made what could have been a stressful visit much smoother. I would definitely recommend this location to anyone needing urgent care services, especially for families with children.

Online booking of appointment, completion of forms and check-in was easy and convenient. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The only issue was having to wait 45 minutes past the original appointment time which can be explained by the number of patients being seen. Overall good experience. I would use them again.

I never knew this place was here but I’m glad I searched and found it since the place that I normally go to was closed. Service was amazing and quick! Dr Jimenez was very caring and gave me something that worked for my condition. And they send prescriptions quickly! I rate them a number 10!

The physician I saw was very friendly and made you feel comfortable. I just moved to Texas but my insurance was not one used in Texas. After visiting an emergency room and then an urgent that was private, it was worth the drive to San Antonio's Next Care Urgent care. They accepted my senior advantage care. The office was very comfortable and accepted walk ins. The physician went out of her way in providing me places closer to home and names of providers. I would recommend this urgent care to anyone looking for care when in need.
