The older of the two women at the front desk was extremely rude and condescending upon arrival. The other young lady was very respectful. I was there with my daughter for her to be seen by a physician. We both felt very profiled and uncomfortable with how we were handled. The physician we were assigned was an Asian woman that also was very rude and asked inappropriate questions, like where my daughter's mother was and why she wasn't present. My wife was at home with our other 3 children, as it was around 9PM. She grilled us for about 5 minutes before eventually granting our request for a medication refill because my daughter Leilani cannot get into see here PCP for another couple of weeks. She seemed to insinuate that we were trying to get meds we did not need... My daughter takes medication that helps her regulate emotions, and ran out about 2 days prior. Overall the experience left us feeling violated and handled poorly. I had to struggle to preserve my dignity, and to not break down from frustration. I worked all day and was already exhausted mentally when I got there, and they only exacerbated the situation.

Great experience given my recent fall. These guys got me in for x-rays at 10pm, were super fast and accommodating, and made sure I was totally ok and pain free before I left. The medical assistant at the front desk was so nice on the phone and knew exactly who I was when I got there, having paperwork txtd to me prior to so I didn't have to bother with it when I got there. The triage nurse was super cool and very calming. The doctor came next and spent more time explaining everything to me even though I was the last person to be seen and it was clearly way after closing, they never made me feel rushed. Other urgent cares in the valley should take a lesson from Next Care on bedside manner - and it's also pretty amazing for an emergency room doctor to genuinely care about patients like he will see them again. Thanks again for taking such good care of me Next Care, I give you a perfect 10 and suggest anyone looking for stellar emergency care should go here :)

This particular NextCare Urgent Care facility on Tomas and 17th St is amazing. I wish I knew everyone's name so I could give them specific accolades. The front office gentleman is ALWAYS kind, welcoming, helpful and makes me feel like I've entered the friendliest care facility in the Valley. The nurse who did my intake was also kind and concerned about my not wanting to talk due to laryngitis. The PA was knowledgable, took all the time I needed, and helped me come up with a plan on how to improve. I feel like I was heard and taken care of by loving people! They have greatest staff at that location! ❤️ ❤️ ❤️

I have mixed feelings about my encounter. I am a provider, but in Women’s Health. I don’t like to disclose that during visits because I don’t want to intimidate anyone, and I want thorough education on pediatric care when dealing with my children. I took my daughter in on Saturday to be evaluated for wheezing. She was stable enough that an ER visit was not necessary, but her pediatrician was closed. I had already listened to her lungs at home, along with another coworker, and we both confirmed she was truly wheezing, and had crackles in her lungs. I made a reservation online and got an appointment within 30 minutes, so that was great! I walked in and there was no one there, we were called back within 10 minutes of arriving- also great! The tech was super sweet and fabulous! Then the Physician’s Assistant came in, listened to her lungs and said her lungs were completely clear/fine. Very different from what I just heard with my stethoscope!! So I mention that my assessment at home was different, and I am told “it’s ok, you’re just a nervous mom.” Thankfully, she didn’t get worse and we were able to make it to our pediatrician this morning, who immediately said she was wheezing. She received a steroid injection and a breathing treatment in the office. So I’m upset that this PA didn’t diagnose correctly- especially regarding the lungs in a pediatric patient. And I’m upset that they tried to gaslight me by saying I was just nervous. 1) Trust a mom’s instinct!! 2) I’m a provider, and know how to listen to lungs. You could have listened again, or called in another provider to check behind you. Thankfully, I have the medical expertise to advocate and seek help elsewhere if needed. But I am scared for the parents who don’t have that same privilege and would have sat at home with a kiddo that may have been getting worse after being told they were “overreacting.” Outside of that, the experience was good.

Made an appointment to seek care for the 2nd degree burns I got on my feet from the sun. Can’t complain about much except the dr who saw me I feel like didn’t do much except prescribe me an antibiotic and a topical. I am only taking the oral antibiotic as a preventative measure. The topical however seems useless unless I had open wounds or infection, which I don’t. Aside from that, all she did was scare me by giving me a worst case scenario situation, telling me not to work for 3 weeks. I understand for liability protection why she said that, but it seemed extremely insensitive to my economic struggles. I can’t afford to miss that much work, which I did say to her. She seemed to not be listening to me at all. She could’ve  told me after that that is a worse case scenario, but realistically with proper care I could return to work after 1 week tops. Which I am expecting. The detached unhuman coldness so many doctors have is cruel and exhausting. The dr who treated me was Sonia Mathew Also the petroleum in the topical she prescribed seemed to make it more uncomfortable. I’m now just using aloe very and bandages. Less is more

Everything went as smooth as silk, this is Paulino here: I love that I was able to choose between Urgent Care Next Cares home page or their own app to schedule my visit and fill out pertinent information way ahead of time, I'm very happy with modern advances and technology: thanks to all of you for your great skills and always leave me marveling 😇👍❣️❣️❣️

I gave this urgent care 0 stars because. My wife went there expecting her toe to be properly examined, cleaned, and treated, not just to be told she had an infection. Instead, we paid 190 and left without receiving the care she needed. That level of service is not acceptable, and I cannot recommend this urgent care based on my experience.

The reception staff were welcoming and professional; their intake process is streamlined and efficient. I was seen quickly on a walk-in basis, and received excellent care. The PA who saw me was thorough and really skilled at answering all my questions and giving clear, detailed instructions. Overall, an excellent experience. Based on my visit, I'd highly recommend.
