To the incredible staff at Maimonides Medical Center,
Words cannot fully express the gratitude I have for the compassion, professionalism, and dedication shown to my daughter and our family. During one of the most frightening times of our lives, every doctor, nurse, technician, and staff member treated us with kindness, respect, and genuine concern.
The level of care, patience, and attention we received made a difficult situation much easier to navigate. The medical team took the time to answer questions, provide reassurance, and ensure my daughter received the best possible treatment.
What stood out most was not only the excellent medical care, but the humanity behind it. Every interaction reminded us that we were more than patients—we were people who mattered.

Dr. Mary Lee-Wong, Allergist is so extraordinary, brilliant, thorough, communicative and down to earth, that the visit felt like I was meeting with a friend. I felt seen, heard, cared about and important. She made sure I understood everything that was happening, as she went over testing, results, the examination, upcoming labs, and any and everything else. She was also warm-hearted and personable, which added an ease to the meticulous visit that enhanced the experience. I am extremely pleased with this experience and highly recommend this doctor and medical center.
I must say that this visit along with the expertise, professionalism, and bedside manner of Dr. Wong, is not unusual at Maimonides Medical Center. The faculty is outstanding and goes above and beyond for their patients. I feel blessed that their doctors are part of my medical team.

Allergy department was very patient Mary Lee-Wong was my doctor she was very thorough and detailed with my care. She explained everything step by step as she conducted the allergy test. The department was very clean the nurses was very nice and polite even though I was slightly late they communicated very well and the Dr was very Articulate. She explained everything so I can understand and I feel comfortable getting allergy shots and treatments with her because she is responsible and answers questions and returns calls so I never have to worry that I am getting the very best care ever possible for myself .
I was hospitalized at the hospital and I was itching like crazy my skin started to peel and no-one was paying any attention to me about my situation, but the allergy doctor. She spoke
with me for at least an hour. she came after hours to see me in the hospital and make sure I got what I needed at the time. And even with all that they still delay. She came back the next day to check on me and spoke with the nurses about my care. Dr Mary Lee Wong went above and beyond to help to me when no one else cared about me.
We need more carring doctors like her in the hospital and need providers that actually listen to you. She advocate for me when no one would, she even have them changed my linen. We need doctor to listen more to their patients. Thank goodness for doctor Mary Lee Wong she's the best there is. She came to visit me everyday to take care of me and my medical condition because I was so sick and I appreciate such kindness. Definitely all doctors should be like her but they unfortunately are not
