Hiraya Nah

From the moment I walked in, I was taken care of right away. The admissions staff were welcoming and efficient, which immediately made me feel at ease. Nurse Margie is incredibly sweet and took the time to explain everything clearly. She gave so much helpful information and made sure I felt comfortable and informed every step of the way. Dr. Chen, my surgeon, has been amazing from the very beginning of my journey. He is caring, patient, and truly listens. You can tell he genuinely cares about his patients, and that made a huge difference for me. During discharge, Nurse Ferdinand was so kind and attentive. What really stood out was that he even made a follow-up call the next day just to check if everything was going well with my surgery, that meant a lot. When I walked into the operating room, everyone was already prepared and extremely professional. The doctors and nurses assisting Dr. Chen were calm, focused, and reassuring. Before I fell asleep, I was counting how many people were there to help me, there were 7 of them! It made me feel very safe and well cared for. Overall, my experience was excellent. I felt supported, respected, and truly cared for. My recovery journey has not been stressful, and the wound has not been too painful, which I truly appreciate. Thank you to the entire Flushing Hospital team for everything you do.

I gave birth at Flushing Hospital and had a wonderful experience. The facilities are modern, the environment is comfortable, and all the nurses and doctors were kind, professional, and extremely caring. As first-time parents, we appreciated how patiently they taught us how to care for our newborn. They took excellent care of both me and my baby and made us feel supported every step of the way. This experience deserves more than 5 stars! Thank you for your dedication, compassion, and outstanding care. ❤️

My father was recently admitted to this hospital, and honestly, I had forgotten it was even here—but I’m so glad we came. From the moment we arrived in the ER, the staff was friendly, attentive, and acted quickly. During a stressful time, their support really meant a lot to me. Once my father was admitted to the floor, the nurses greeted him warmly, took the time to listen to his needs, and responded right away. They were accommodating, patient, and genuinely caring throughout his stay. Every staff member we encountered was kind and professional. I was surprised to see some negative reviews, because our experience was the complete opposite. The hospital is also located in a quiet neighborhood, which made us feel safe and a bit more at ease. There may not be a ton of food options nearby, but there are a few restaurants and stores within walking distance. I also recommend checking out Tart Tart Bakery—delicious treats if you need a quick pick-me-up. Overall, I’m very grateful for the care my father received and would definitely recommend this hospital to others. Also parking may be difficult if you dont want to use the parking lot where you gotta pay

I came today around afternoon brought my son because of a high temperature fever and him throwing plus bleeding from his nose. Notice nothing of empathy neither from the security up to the nurse, just straight questions with anger and superiority attitude. Another kid was throwing and crying and security just looking not moving a finger as you can see from the picture! This the security helping a patient that came to him asking for his family member and he just like this, looking careless and not empathetic feeling. Also just to let everyone that will come here they have a policy of not tolerating anyone of disrespect the workers there !! Mind you this workers are doing this behavior and want us patient who are there for a reason and only want to get the medical attention needed! I hope this supervisor at this emergency section bring this kinds of behavior to attention.

Flushing Hospital truly left a positive impression on me. I’ve been to many hospitals recently since my mother-in-law has not been well, and after so many visits, you start to notice the differences in care and atmosphere. Flushing Hospital stood out in a surprisingly good way. From the moment we walked in, every staff member we encountered was kind and respectful. The security guards were welcoming and helpful, which immediately made the experience feel less stressful. The nurses were attentive, patient, and compassionate, taking the time to explain things and check in often. Even the kitchen staff and other support staff were friendly and considerate, always greeting us with a smile. What really struck me was the overall sense of teamwork and care. Hospitals can feel cold or overwhelming, especially when you’re there for a loved one, but the staff here made us feel supported and respected during a difficult time. Their kindness made a meaningful difference in our experience. While no one wants to spend time in a hospital, it’s comforting to know that places like Flushing Hospital exist, where people are treated with dignity and warmth. I’m genuinely thankful for the care and compassion shown to our family during such a challenging period.

There is no urgency. Just ppl standing around . Nurses just standing there. There is no way any patient should be waiting over 4 hours for just a vaccine shot. The staff needs to move quicker and act like patients lives are on the line. I see all these doctors and nurses just sitting at the desks not doing anything. All this staff and still hours to be helped? Insane

I received professional and compassionate care . The ER doctor quickly assessed my problem and ordered appropriate tests which were quickly done . The ultrasound technician was so compassionate and gentle and eased my fears . CT technicians allayed my fears and were quick and professional. Every nurse on the 4th floor unit I was admitted to was kind and professional . I was treated like a queen . Every doctor assigned to me was professional and kind and made sure I was informed of everything. I don’t think I could have gotten better care at any hospital in NYC . I can’t forget interventional radiology that got me through a tough procedure with the kindest and most skilled professional care . I am truly grateful EMS transported me to your hospital . I feel like you guys saved my life and so will forever be grateful . Also food service really strived to make sure I had the best of food and it was good .
