I had a great experience at First Dental Center. Over the past 7 days, I had three appointments there and every visit was consistently excellent.
There was essentially no wait time, and the entire process was efficient, professional, and very well organized. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming from start to finish.
Special thanks to the hygienists Amanda and Crystal for being so kind, thorough, and attentive, and to Dr. Nguyen for the excellent care and professionalism.
Also, a special shout out to Lila, the therapy dog, who made the whole experience even better. Highly recommend!
Coming from someone with SEVERE dental anxiety, this was the best dental experience I have ever had. Amanda was my hygienist and made me feel so comfortable throughout the entire process. She made it really easy to trust her while feeling extremely vulnerable. Dr. Feng is wonderful. He talked to me like I was a friend and explained underlying causes and walked me through the treatment plan in a way that was not intimidating. Would recommend this place to anyone and everyone. Not to mention, there is a therapy dog on staff!!!
I had an amazing experience at First Dental Center. From the moment I walked in, the staff was incredibly welcoming and friendly. The receptionist made me feel at ease and the dental assistant was so kind and attentive, taking the time to explain every step. The specialist was also fantastic—professional, thorough and really listened to my concerns. I left feeling truly cared for and confident in my dental care. I can’t recommend them enough❤️
First Dental employs unprofessional dentists, who has no respect for patients time. I was a first time patient, and waited 45 minutes to be seen by a dentist, which I was told was on a conference call. I had to reschedule my appointment on the day prior because in route to my appointment, my GPS said I would be there in five minutes. Contacted First Dental to notify the office of my arrival time, and I was told that I had to reschedule. I agreed to reschedule. However, I requested a male dentist instead of a female. I arrived 15 minutes early the following day. Checked in and paid consultation fee. I was called in for an examination. I waited 45 minutes and was told the dentist that I was assigned was on a conference call, but I could see the dentist that I was supposed to see on the day prior. I declined and left. I feel First Dental discriminates against people of color. If you want to be treated poorly, then First Dental is the perfect dental office to visit. I was paying out of my pocket for the services I was seeking. Please do not patronize this practice, unless you want to be disrespected.
I've been coming here for like at least 3+ years now and haven't had a bad experience yet! I love how compassionate, non-judgemental & friendly all the staff is. I always feel seen and heard at this dentist office. They always answer any questions or address any dental related concerns I might have.If you're in need of a new Dentist I seriously cannot recommend Dr.Feng and his team enough ! 👌🏻💯
After 10+ years in Chicago, I had practically given up on finding a dental practice I could trust. When a friend referred me to First Dental for nerve pain in a rear molar, I waited six months before making an appointment—past experiences with unpleasant and costly dental visits had left me wary. I just wanted the tooth pulled and to be done with it. But even before my first visit, something felt different. The pre-appointment forms included thoughtful questions I'd never been asked by a dentist before. It was clear that communication, comfort, and transparency were at the heart of their practice.
First Dental has completely changed my perspective on dental care. This week, Dr. Feng performed my first-ever root canal, and I genuinely don't know why I waited so long. The moment I took my first sip of cold water post-op—without wincing in pain—I was ecstatic. If you've been putting off dental work due to past negative experiences, I can't recommend First Dental highly enough! Thank you all!
My first appointment here was amazing! I had bad experience with other dentists that were aggressive or just not accommodating to my gum sensitivity but here the staff is so friendly, understanding, patient, and accommodating. So glad I’ve found a place I can consistently return to.
best dentist i’ve ever had 非常好💯 thorough, thoughtful, fair, patient, honest, above all compassionate ~ beautiful practice with real genuine humans 🌞 two crowns and a filling, with stellar topomaps of my teeth, thorough attention to detail cleaning out what would have become a nasty infection from old botched crowns. and just great vibes, beautiful story of how this place got started and the hard work that led to such abundance 🌅 我很喜欢跟你说！and 生日快乐！
