The medical staff (the most.important part) was impeccable. Everybody was friendly, seemed highly competant, and all around professional. Could ask for nothing more.
The lobby was too small for the amount of people there and wasnt particularly comfortable. The wait was seemed way too long (almost an hour after my appt time). The intake person left her personality at home the dsy I was there. Parking was good, easy to get to and good availability for patient pickup.
Overall, this was a positive experience as the medical staff was so good.
The Surgery Center is extremely busy, but the staff is very efficient and friendly. Be sure to complete the pre-surgery or procedure documents they will send to you ahead of time. This will save time and headaches as you will have time to look up the information you need to provide. I have been to this surgery center for cataract surgery and subsequent adjustments; a total of 4 times. Each of my surgical and follow up procedures went off perfectly and I am happy with the results.
In the past couple of weeks, I have had cataract surgeries on both of my eyes at the Eye Surgery Center at the Biltmore and I am extremely happy with my experience that I have had there. All of the staff is very friendly, professional, and helpful. My surgeries were done with laser technology and the results are fantastic. I don’t need glasses anymore for reading close up and don’t need glasses for driving. My vision is very clear, crisp and neat 20/20 vision now 😊. My surgeon, Dr. Chen explained everything very clearly and my surgeries were painless. I highly recommend The Eye Surgery Center at Biltmore.
I had a wonderful experience here for my recent surgery. The nurses and staff were so attentive, accommodating, and kind. They explained everything clearly beforehand, which really helped put me at ease, and took amazing care of me afterward. Thank you all so much for making me feel so comfortable!
The level of care was good, and the process was good once I left the check in desk and lobby. Waiting area is too small, too loud and too busy. The conversations at the check in desk where patients were conducting transactions were easy to overhear. Was also odd to see patients waiting to go to the back with tape dots on their foreheads indicating some prep for treatment… people were standing for lack of seating options. Was very impersonal and had the feeling of an assembly line. The door to the waiting area on the side of the building was very ad hoc arrangement… I went to the main entrance lobby and had to walk around the structure to find the door. Whole thing taken together made me a bit on edge. Was fine once my name was called.
Excellent service from the moment I walked in the doors and on through when I walked out the doors. The staff is friendly, courteous and efficient. The procedure was explained to me in detail and was quick and painless. Highly recommend this facility.
Overall, the experience was very positive. I was treated very respectfully. They were very busy and so I did have to wait a bit longer than normal for the procedure. However, once I was in, I was out quickly. I do recommend them.
If you want to feel like a number not a person then this is the right place for you. And I’m not talking about the ppl who give the eye exams at the offices. I’m talking about the surgery center itself. The receptionist is ok the gal I had was not real friendly and the surgeon (I won’t mention his name)who does the cataract surgery and the scar tissue removal is not friendly. He doesn’t have time he goes from patient to patient. I’ve had cataracts removed from both eyes and also scarred tissue. He never asked how are you doing? Are you driving better at night? Nothing… no bedside manner at all. Sorry now I went back the fourth time!
