I had a procedure done yesterday. I was in ambulatory care unit. My surgery was 2 hours delayed. The nurses didnt communicate nothing to me. Olga the head nurse was very rude and she said your next meanwhile a patient went before me. They didnt give me no fluid in my iv. I was so dehydrated. I left like 6:30 dizzy and felt horrible.
The one good that about the visit was Dr parikh. He is a great surgeon. Did a great job. Im not in much pain.
Horrible experience. I came in with severe back pain that was so intense I could barely walk. I have been waiting for more than 12 hours, and the only update I received was, “I already spoke with your doctor.”
At one point, my nurse told me she was going to bring me pain medication for the extreme pain I was experiencing, but she never returned. Here I am, still waiting in the hallway, with no answers and no idea how much longer this will take.
No patient should have to endure this level of pain while being left waiting for hours without proper communication or care.
I has visited September 05 2025
My sister recently gave birth to a baby boy, so I have a new nephew. I went to the hospital to visit them. The hospital was very beautiful, the environment inside was very clean, and the staff were very kind and behaved very nicely.
This place is great for emergencies I got my surgery done here for emergency and they were always attentive to help me. Considering it was a snow day and a major Jewish holiday after they never stoped caring for me and I’m appreciated towards that. I think they work hard with a staff that is low. And people need to greatful with how hard they work under so much pressure and sometimes you can’t get treated perfectly but there just suppose to keep you stable and alive they have so many people to take care of. But they truly work hard and kept me stable and was attentive. Yes there was some things that wasn’t great but at the end of day they are relitively small hospital and in a very busy area with hard working staff and need to be recognized and get a pat on there back. I’m forever greatful they did my surgery and I’m hoping for speedy recovery. Plus their food is goood.
Thank you. This morning was a bowl of stress with my Mom in so much pain. We were greeted by Elaine who is ER Triage. She was very sweet and calm, thoughtful and detailed.
We then met Yasmine, who is wonderful. She was our nurse that was very calming and sympathetic to my mothers pain as well as my nervousness. The Dr we seen was detailed and gave my mother medication to relieve the pain and order tests that we are waiting for them to preform. The ER staff and floor are very friendly and the decor is comfortable, organized, easy-going. Very relaxed atmosphere.
This hospital has gotten really bad. I went to the emergency on May 15 at night and was in there for 8 hours. It wasn’t busy yet we were there for so long. Additionally, the workers there were really bad and had overall terrible customer service. There were 2 nurses that had terrible attitude and one of them had no uniform/scrubs on. She was just walking around not doing any work. They are getting paid for basically doing nothing. The reason people go to emergency room is for their health, not to party. This hospital used to be good but now it is just terrible. Their reputation has gone down since.

Recognition for Nurse Linda Voigt Toussaint, RN
My husband was recently rushed to the ER and later admitted. Despite the clear short‑staffing challenges, the team worked tirelessly to care for their patients. When he was transported to the 5th floor, I was exhausted, emotional, and vulnerable — and that’s when Nurse Linda Voigt Toussaint became the breath of fresh air we desperately needed.
Linda made us feel comfortable from the moment she entered the room. She was attentive, patient, and compassionate, answering every question and ensuring my husband received the best possible care. Throughout the night, she monitored him closely and consistently, never once making us feel like a burden.
Her professionalism, empathy, and integrity were evident in everything she did. It’s clear that caring and healing are truly her calling. After so many years in nursing, it’s inspiring to see that she has not become desensitized, but instead continues to provide outstanding, heartfelt care. She is without question an asset to this hospital.
Thank you, Linda. I wish every patient could experience the level of care you provide.

I could barely walk when I went to their ER with a very painful & swollen knee. Everyone, from the reception in the waiting room to the entire staff in the ER, was wonderful. Dr Lucky, who aspirated my knee, took a lot of care to explain the procedure & numb the area. This really helped since there was quite a bit of synovial fluid that was extracted. In this regard, I was relieved to avoid any further pain!
I was just visiting NY at the time & once I got home, needed to have my X-rays & report for a follow-up medical visit. Evelyne from Imaging sent these to me very quickly & just in time for my follow-up appointment, which I really appreciated.
Obviously life-threatening emergencies are a priority, so expect a long wait especially if there are a lot more pressing cases.
In the end, I was happy with the care I got at this hospital.
