I never write reviews but I really disliked the office and wanted to let other prospective clients know our experience. This felt like a hustle to see the most patients possible. The dentist came in and did not introduce himself. I had no clue if he was the dentist or hygienist. I asked who he was and he told me he didn’t introduce himself because he wasn’t sure if I was a patient and already knew him. My son was in the chair, not me. He never examined me son’s mouth, even seeing that he had some anomalies with baby teeth. He only looked at the X-rays. At the cleaning, they didn’t scrape the teeth, just polished. The hygienist said I didn’t have a prior authorization for scraping and the dentist said he didn’t need it. Odd. I absolutely will not be going back.
My experience at this clinic has been extremely disappointing. I came in with a fractured tooth and was informed that the treatment I needed was not covered by my insurance. Based on that information, I agreed to and paid nearly $2,000 for a procedure that ultimately was not necessary.
Afterward, I discovered that the actual emergency treatment required for my condition was, in fact, covered by my insurance. Had I been given accurate information from the beginning, I would not have agreed to pay for unnecessary treatment.
I feel that I was misled regarding my insurance coverage and charged for services that were not needed. I expect this matter to be reviewed thoroughly and would appreciate a prompt response regarding how the clinic intends to address this situation.
DO NOT GO HERE. They know how to do one thing: waste your time. They’re unprofessional & scam. I had to come in 3 times because they didn’t know how to properly set up an oral appt. Then last minute said it’d cost me 900. Do yourself a favor and go anywhere else.
I love how they treated my mother. She loves to talk and they were very patient with her. They were also very accommodating to her disability. No lie 5 stars
It’s honestly been the best dentist experience ever. The staff is experienced and friendly. The dentists are kind and knowledgeable as well. I have high anxiety, but they have made the experiences not painful and safe. Parking is limited, but there’s several options.
I have not been to the dentist in a few years and I had gone to the western dental in Lincoln Park about a year ago but I never went back because of the customer service.
Completely different experiences here. When I arrived a gentleman greeted me and provided me forms. After a few minutes Ashley took over, super sweet, explained how everything will work. Rita was the dental assistant that took over, very professionally and friendly, she managed to provide a great experience while training a new staff.

Fast and great service, enjoyed his interaction with his staff.
Very shady business practices. The Woman in charge of billing convinced me to open a Care Credit account to cover all my work that insurance would not cover. When I reviewed my statement, they had nearly maxed out the balance, much more than the amount I had signed for.
When I called the office, she was very vague of what procedures would cost. I asked her repeatedly if I was completely paid up for all the work and she said yes. I asked for a printed breakdown of all the work which I never received. On my last visit there, I asked again if I was completely paid up and the front desk said yes.
Weeks later I received a bill for $430, on top of the $1,600 I had already paid them. When I called repeatedly to go over the charges, the Woman in charge of billing was always “out to lunch” or “sick” She never returned my messages or ever tried to reach me. Instead, she immediately turned over my bill to claims. I have nearly perfect credit and now I have to deal with creditors over this BS.
Evidently this is called balance billing and they seem to be doing this a lot. The dentists themselves were pleasant and I wish I could continue going here but the people in charge of the billing are incredibly unprofessional and unethical.
Do not use this clinic and report them to your insurance company.
