I came in with a painful UTI right before closing time. The doctor forgot to send my antibiotics to the pharmacy where I waited an hour (since it’s far from home). Worst of all there is a broken Tish Aquarium with live starving fish living in cloudy water eating the gravel. I was told their caretaker hasn’t came around in awhile and they are looking for a new person. The filter is broken and the water was stagnant and also evaporated. I told them the water cycle is crashed and the water contains nitrites and ammonia (which will burn their skin) and the fish would die. Asked them if I could clean for free and they never called me. I’m calling the tomorrow and going in person to see if I can at-least do a water change for these poor babies and feed them real food (not cheap flakes). This is a professional establishment and medical care. This is very shocking to me to see.
The staff from the front desk to the assistants as well as the doctors were so friendly, helpful, patient, and made us feel so comfortable. The receptionist greeted us with such a warm friendly smile. She saw our daughter was nervous and was very encouraging to her. I only wish I got her name. The assistant that gather data and took her vitals has excellent “bedside” manners. You can tell she likes working with people. The doctor felt like a family friend. Very understanding and caring. Definitely would revisit if need be.
I had a great experience at Center’s Urgent Care of Borough Park. The staff was professional, kind, and truly cared about getting me the help I needed. Everything from the check-in process to the medical care was handled efficiently, and the facility itself was clean and well-organized. It is a relief to have such a reliable and compassionate urgent care center in our neighborhood. Highly recommend!
Wish I had looked at the negative reviews before going here. 15 weeks pregnant went in because I had been feeling weak, feverish, severe throat pain, back pain, dehydrated from throwing up so much. I have a 1 year old and wanted to make sure I didn't have anything contagious. Nurse was great took my vitals asked all my symptoms and took notes. Doctor stormed in said how you doing walked past me and made me tell him my symptoms while I stared at the door. He went to examine my heart while I held my back in pain he stopped what he was going and rudely told me " why are you doing that?" after I had already told him my symptoms. I said because my back hurts, what kind of stupid question is that?" He responded by saying " are you okay?" And I said " No, that's why I'm at the doctor's office " I explained how I felt painful movement in my belly and he said movement is always good, I said yes but it's painful. He said I can't do anything for the baby you have to go somewhere else. Which obviously I know he's not my OB but he should know basic care of warning signs of whether or not I should go to the ER or not. He examines my throat and said it looked good, all my tests were negative. So I walked out of the examination room did not want to stay there any second longer, he was so condescending, no bedside manner, doesn't let you finish what you're saying before he cuts you off with the rudest remarks. Ridiculous. I am already a person who is hesitant to go to doctors because I push through pain and discomfort often.
And today I get a call from them that I tested positive for strep, and I asked how long I'm contagious? She didn't know, left me on hold for a second and confirmed it was. To which they responded 12-24 hours after starting anti biotics, so I asked okay, will the doctor be prescribing anti- biotics? They said yes that's why we called.
Honestly please skip this place if you can, worst experience I've ever had with a doctor and I had a bad feeling when I heard a woman screaming next to me saying " no stop , stop it hurts" and just a loud dry "okay" from the doctor.
Did not want to dive into this negative experience, and leave a bad review, this is my first negative review, but truly don't want other people to have such a bad experience when they're sick and needing care, please go somewhere else if possible.
I don’t usually write negative reviews and cause a scene, but respectfully, this urgent care clinic was beyond unprofessional. Had an appointment for 1:00, and the receptionist didn’t even show up until 1:10, which was at first fine, I get it, we all show up late sometimes. But to make it worse, she was giving me attitude about how they don’t actually honor appointments because they’re “walk in only” even though they have an appointment making system on their literal website. Doctor ended up showing up 30 minutes later, which again was perhaps fine, except she made some slightly unprofessional jokes to try to break the awkwardness. And worst of all, I discovered that I was left with medical material from my exam still in me when I got home, meaning my test most likely wouldn't have been accurate and seems not only unprofessional but potentially a hazard! I really try my best to turn the other cheek and not cause trouble, but from start to finish my visit at this clinic was extremely unpleasant and unprofessional.
The front of house and physician were good. We had a possible fracture so needed an Xray. That’s when things went downhill. The Xray tech was very rude and abrasive. Because my kid had shifted, the lead shield wasn’t in place. I tried to politely alert him but he yelled at me saying that he’s been doing this for 29 years and I can’t tell him how to do his job. I’m not an expert and was just trying to make sure my kid was okay. Secondly, they didn’t have anyone available to read the Xray so couldn’t conclude anything. They said they would call back after the radiologist reviewed it and they didn’t. I also didn’t receive a copy of the Xray so my son had to get another Xray.
My wife went here and came home in tears. The doctor was dismissive and unprofessional. Bedside manner was garbage. She paid cash for her care and when she brought up that she receives infusions and is immunocompromised, the doctor said "and who pays for that?" What an unnecessary snarky comment. Unprofessionalism at its absolute finest. Do not give these people your business. I'd give zero stars if I could.
