I’ve been here twice and have had a great experience both times. Annie Dai is very knowledgeable, took the time to answer all of my questions, and made me feel comfortable throughout my visits. She explained things clearly and never made me feel rushed.
Summer was also very friendly and helpful, and all of the staff were welcoming and professional. Everyone made the process smooth and pleasant from start to finish.
I highly recommend this office to anyone looking for a dermatologist. Thank you to Annie, Summer, and the entire team for the excellent care!
😊👍
I saw a doctor and a PA here for a minor seat belt rash. The Doctor prescribed an antibiotic and a super-potent steroid. Had I have known the side effects, would not have taken it. It led a burning back rebound rash that covered my back and some of my legs and arms. Went back to the PA, he prescribed 30 days of a strong antibiotic. This ended up causing a second rebound rash that was bigger and worse. Both of these folks gave me no guidance on how to take the drugs/topicals, nor did they explain any side effects. Now I am 3 months in with pain for the last 2 1/2 months of this and trying to do it now without drugs, which is starting to work. This place does not ethically thing about what the drugs they are issuing could do. The first doctor could have easily started with a low range steroid instead of the strongest. Will NOT go back to this place.
I have always had a pleasant office visit with the Dr., and her assistant. They are cordial and informitive if I have questions or concerns. I will continue to reccomend Center for Dermatology to anyone having a skin issue.
Both my husband and I are very happy with Center for Dermatology.
Sincerely Karen Perry-Laird and Rick Laird.
Very easy to find. Filled paperwork out online. Everyone was professional, nice and helpful. Dr. Kendall Smith and his Assistant Kenny answered questions and explained things to me. So gentle and unassuming. Dr. Kendall had a good personality and winning smile.
I’ve been coming to this office for several years for annual skin checks. The location is convenient and I do appreciate being able to get appointments fairly easily. Karen has always been pleasant and professional during my visits.
That said, the overall patient experience here tends to run hot and cold. Some visits the staff are friendly and welcoming, while other times the tone can feel rushed or almost dismissive. This inconsistency has happened often enough over the years that it’s noticeable.
Dermatology appointments can naturally make patients a little anxious since you never quite know what the outcome of a skin check might be. A bit more empathy and kindness from the front desk and support staff would go a long way toward making patients feel more comfortable.
I’ll likely continue coming because of the convenience and the care itself, but a more consistently warm patient experience would make this office much better.
Kara Gooding is a great provider, thoughtful and considerate of my concerns by taking time to address the reason for my appointment. Her assistants are so sweet and made the appointment fun and enjoyable. Front desk was helpful during check in and made sure I had everything I needed before they brought me to the back. Checking in online through the texted link made the in person check in process go smoothly!
I was so happy to walk in with a bump on my finger, be promptly seen, and walk out a few minutes later with no bump and and a bandaid!
I liked everyone from the professional front desk to the sassy PA, to the delightful Dr.Dai who all got the job done so well and quickly!
I would give this company a 2 star review as the wait time was fairly exorbitant. However, when I did get to see the doctor, his demeanor made the wait worthwhile, he apologized profusely and sincerely for the wait, so together with that and everybody there being very personable and professional I came away witha little different perspective. The doctor was also very proficient and very explicit in his explanations of my situation. I’ll continue to go to the center for dermatology.
