I recently visited this neurology office and had mixed experiences. Dr. Pandey was absolutely amazing. As a first-time patient, I felt heard and respected. His bedside manner was excellent — he was kind, attentive, and took the time to explain everything clearly. I truly appreciated the care he provided. Unfortunately, my experience with the front desk staff was very disappointing. I have never been treated so rudely in a medical office before. When I was trying to set up my appointment, the woman at the front desk (I didn’t catch her name) rolled her eyes and made me feel like I was inconveniencing her. When you come into a place seeking help — especially for neurological concerns — you are often already feeling vulnerable. That interaction made the experience much more stressful than it needed to be. I understand that specialists are busy and that testing and results can take time. However, patients are still living with their symptoms in the meantime. Waiting months for follow-up while going through testing can be difficult, and a little compassion at the front desk goes a long way. Dr. Pandey’s seemed solid, but the front office experience significantly impacted my overall impression. I hope the office addresses this, as patient interaction from the moment you walk in truly matters.

I was referred to Dr Pandey by my amazing PCP Dr Gonik and I’m totally satisfied! Great bed size manner, listens, attentive with a friendly demeanor. Looking for a new neurologist or for a second opinion? I’m happy and hopefully you can be too.

I can't recommend that anyone use Brain and Spine Center for their neurological care, because it seems that they don't care. From the moment you walk in the door, it becomes obvious that things are not right. You have to talk to a computer, not a person! And I'm not sure that it's actually a person on the computer screen and not an AI. My wife went in office for several appointments and was supposed to receive a follow-up telephone consultation to discuss results of those appointments. When nobody called, we called the office only to get a recording telling us that they were too busy to talk to us - but our call was VERY important to them. She had a scheduled NeuroPsych Evaluation appointment (which could ONLY be done on Fridays). We went to a lot of trouble rearranging our schedule so we could go to a Friday appointment. Today she received a text saying they were canceling our appointment scheduled for tomorrow. Now I have to assume that we're going to have to rearrange our schedule (again) to work around their schedule. Well, I guess that's OK. After all their time is WAY MORE important than our time. We're just regular people after all.

Absolutely amazing office. Been seeing Simon for my migraines for years & he has always been so knowledgeable, compassionate, empathetic & thorough. Everyone in this office from front desk to scheduling to the doctors and NPs are an absolute joy to work with! I highly recommend Brain & Spine Center!

Very frustrating experience with scheduling. Our appointment was confirmed over the phone in advance. When we arrived on time after taking time off from work, we were told our appointment had been canceled because we didn’t reply to a text message. We did get an email asking to reply with Yes to confirm but received an error message in response. No one called to inform us of the cancellation, and we were not accommodated despite being there at the scheduled time. This caused a complete waste of time. If text confirmation is mandatory, that should be clearly explained when booking. Canceling a confirmed appointment without direct notice is very unprofessional.

When you arrive in the office you are greeted by a woman virtually on a computer screen who isn’t in this location. My appointment was at 9:30am. At 10am I still wasn’t seen so I questioned the virtual office assistant who couldn’t get anyone from the practice to answer the phone and respond to her. It’s currently 10:11 and I am still sitting in the waiting room. My time is valuable and waiting 45 plus minutes past my appointment time is 110% unacceptable.

While I appreciate the office’s initial assistance with my medication management, I’ve experienced repeated scheduling issues. My first appointment was set six months in advance, which I understood and was willing to accommodate. However, since then, I’ve been rescheduled twice more. I also have professional and personal obligations, and the repeated changes feel both inconsiderate and disruptive to my time and schedule. Additionally, the same patients should not be the ones repeatedly rescheduled. It’s important to maintain fairness and consistency in scheduling to ensure all patients’ time is respected equally. I would greatly appreciate more reliability with future appointments.

Stay away from this place. All of the other negative reviews are accurate. 1. Check-in is horrible, done virtually in a small room where everyone can hear your information. No privacy. 2. Once checked in you're kept waiting for 45 minutes. How can they be running late all of the time? 3. If you try to call or text, you get no response and no one gets back to you with any urgency. 4. They schedule your next appointment without even knowing if you're available or if you even want to come back. Why not at least have the decency to ask the patient? As most doctors these days it seems like they don't really care about people and are just interested in money.
