Dyamond Perlaza
They are open on Saturday. They should accommodate patient availability over their own. They had an appointment open at 1:15 on a Saturday but told me I could not schedule because they have to schedule from the earliest appointment. So I asked what time do they start their appointments and she said 7:45. I then asked if there were other patients scheduled that day and she said yes. So I said how do you have patients scheduled after the first appointment time but telling me I can’t schedule because you have to start from the first appointment. She kept trying to make up excuses. She just did not want to schedule because I believe they want to get off early on Saturday!!!! If you don’t want to work on Saturday, don’t have your business open!!! Horrible experience!
I have been going to this place for the last 2 years. I previously went to another clinic and did not have a great experience, but I'm glad to have found Dr. Jeff Olsen and staff. This place has been wonderful and I am glad to be able to order my contacts through this clinic. The parking may be limited, but you can always find a spot. The receptionists are always helpful and courteous. FYI, check in is through a kiosk.
The place has a nice optical area for frames, but I found my place at Lenscrafters!
I am glad to hear this business has a location in Phoenix so I don’t have to find a new clinic. Just need tof find out who I will see when I move and reschedule.
OMG!!! This place was fantastic!!! I've never had my eyes checked like this before!!! It was awesome!!! The employees were wonderful, the doctor is amazing!!! They truly care about my vision. I truly appreciate your Love you show. I came alone and scared and by the time I was seen I felt like this was my family!!! Fear gone! Thank you so much for the experience you showed me.
I had a 9:15 appointment and was not called in until after 10AM. I had a different appointment somewhere else and told them that I had to be out no later than 11:10. They did manage to get me out quickly, while still being thorough. I just wish they honored my appointment time.
I walked in, they looked at my eye and got me immediately set up for surgery as the last patient that day!
Was way more than I expected with a great surgery outcome. Also set up two visits to make sure everything was OK!
My sincere recommendation to anyone looking for an eye doctor group that cares about health and healing.
I've had the worst relationship with this eye center. Scheduling me an appointment on a Sunday that my insurance can't verify so they won't cover or transportate . Customer service at the Mesa office is absolutely putrid. Their customer service can do absolutely nothing for you but they're sorry. Sorry doesn't alleviate the pain or the hassle of having to deal with the insurance. Or transportation.
Wow, after reading so many negative posts, I may as well chime in too. My experience was disappointing overall. Once I actually got back to see the exam professionals and the Dr it was great, they were great! However, the front office staff was not. It took 50 minutes to schedule my follow up, for perspective, in literally any other medical facility I have ever been too, it's done on my way out, like 90 seconds tops...the staff was cold, borderline rude, and any semblance of customer service did not exist. I am not sure I will go back, which sucks, because they are overwhelmingly considered one of, if not the top eye clinic in the valley. Unfortunately, my experience did not fit that description.
Horrible service. Barnet Dulaney Perkins Eye Center was listed on my insurance site as a preferred eye center so I booked online a contact fitting exam for myself And regular eye exam for my husband. The day before my appointment, I got a call from the office saying they do not do contact fittings despite option online. So I ended up booking an appointment elsewhere for myself and figured it would be safe to leave my husband’s appointment as is. His appointment was scheduled for Monday and when he arrived, he was told that his appointment was canceled or that something happened and it was not on the schedule. So they rescheduled his appointment for today. After making the drive for a second time, he went back, only to be told that they do not accept our insurance. And someone who works in healthcare and customer service there are a lot of missed opportunities that should’ve been caught. Their website needs to be updated to actually reflect that they do not do contact fittings. And like most facilities, they should run patient insurance to make sure they accept it before making them come up for the appointment not just once but twice. Even if they did accept our insurance, I would not go to refer anyone to this office.
