I was sent to Er by ambulance this morning by vomiting and constant kidney failure. Staff that brought me great. Nurses came in wonderful. I watched the doctor I didnt even know was mine across my hall for almost 20 minutes with that patient that came in to my room, I told her my symptoms amd constant lower abdominal pain and chest pain had trouble breathing etc. More worried about a lump on lower abdomen. She took her two hands and touched me like I was a softer pretzel amd walked away and said ok. Didn't say anything more or less then that. Next nurse comes in room and puts me on fluids as it was obviously I was dehydrated. And then later a low non narcotic for my liver. Which was great and my vomiting. That all got taken care of well however my breathing because a egg said I was apparently fone but the constant pain in my chest and non the less the pain I kept feeling along woth a bump in my lower right are was tingling and hurting wasnt address. She never issues a lower abdominal exam or mri, ct nothing. I keep addressing it to the nurse however doctor dodnt feel important. I seen this doctor in several hours about 10mins if even that. Didn't ask all the normal questions ive been asked when in the hospital for same symptoms but one more problem I was concerned about the most this lump in my lower abdomen hurting swollen I and making some odd feeling that one sector of my body is tingling non stop more so when im vomiting. She didnt even take measures to check it. I seen my nurse more then her. Nin the less told the nurse after getting fluids back in me come back in 20 mins I should be ready to go do a urine sample. No one comes back but doctor to say im letting you go pver a hour. Didn't even try. Jjst released me

I've recently had to go to BDMC emergency room twice in the last few weeks with a triple fractured skull and every part of my experience went very well and I'm healing incredibly fast. I returned after the skull surgery to have that and my bloody stools checked out, I received the best check out ever from nurse Daisy!!! She was the friendliest, most knowledgeable human I have ever met. She explained everything so well and easy to understand, she made a very scary situation enjoyable! Thank you nurse Daisy, I'll never forget you.

This past year my husband & I were brought here in an ambulance b/c of a car accident we were involved in. I had to undergo several different surgeries, as well as my husband had to have some surgeries as well. A week later, my husband tragically passed and no one here would allow me to go visit my husband not one time! Not even to say goodbye. Even when he was still alive and his outlook wasn’t good, they still wouldn’t let me go see him. This is my best friend I’ve been with for 8 years. While in the trauma unit, I experienced mostly “bad” nurses. They liked to make you wait longer than needed to have your pain medication. Some made up ridiculous reasons why I couldn’t have it, which was odd, and then the next day I’d find out from the doctor that they were not supposed to do that. Once I was moved to the main recovery unit or the hospital my experience was much, much better. The food was really good. The room was large and spacious, and the nurses were outstanding. My main complaint was that I’m missing some expensive jewelry that was real, and also sentimental. Everything was taken off me when I got to the hospital and after surgery I don’t know where my stuff got put. But when I asked the nurses where my belongings were, she couldn’t find everything, and the items I was missing, no one could find. 2 of my favorite, and expensive bracelets are gone! There is no reason why they shouldn’t have been with all my other belongings. Also, the hospitalist who is the main one in charge seems to have strong opinions that are very judgmental. She comes off as being stuffy/snotty, with a rude attitude. Someone with that type of job should be extremely compassionate, and have empathy towards their patients, while maintaining class. This is my experience after being here for almost a month.

I am still currently in this hospital and have been for 12 days! I’ve been very sick many times in my life treated by many hospitals, many physicians, many nurses there’s a consistency in this Hospital and it’s like a heartbeat you feel it every time a nurse walks into your room with that smile on their face. Whoever is doing the hiring of their nursing staff here has done an outstanding job Alyse Sammy Alejandra BB Shoa Amber paternie Beatrice bailee Rachael and so many more names that have blessed me in my room these last 12 days. I’m gonna be here today on my birthday and there’s no people I’d rather spend it with you truly are angels walking on this earth. Keep doing what you’re doing I’ve never had such exceptional care. Sorry you’re still stuck with me, Girls, but I’m so happy to be in such good hands Thank you for changing my opinion of the medical world, one single nurse at a time

I gave birth here December 2025, had a scare later with baby that brought us to urgent care, we’ve seen urology and cardiology as well since he was born and all the nurses have done a great job! I’ve never felt left out of decisions and they all explained everything that was happening in a calm professional manner that was easy to understand. There was one medical assistant in the pediatric ER that gave me the best pep talk while I was having a meltdown. I wish I could remember her name because she was an angel to a freshly postpartum mama in a stressful situation. I cried while she spoke encouraging words to me and she just let me get it all out even tho I could barely speak. I won’t forget her.

Had surgery last week and my post op nurses for my overnight stay were so sweet. Olivia, and “M”… you gals made a not fun, painful experience much better. Pre-op was a little interesting, the lady who checked me in upstairs could use some coffee and breakfast perhaps. But again, not bad. Hospitals are never fun, forever short staffed but those post op gals did excellent!

My four year old grandson was admitted to the pediatric floor at this hospital and I can’t say enough how impressed I was. They have a play area on the floor that the kids can go play video games, board games, dollhouse, car track, puzzles, Play-Doh, painting & lots of things to keep kids entertained so they are not trapped in their room all day. The best part was the nurses came find you for vitals or meds. I highly recommend this hospital. Everybody was very sweet and took the time to make sure that we were all happy, comfortable and we received great medical care!!

One nurse made my mothers stay a 5 star , she deserves an award ! Kathy RN was with my mother during her neuclear scan r/t a GI bleed and continued to look after my mother and check in on her. I could rest easy which was hard during this event. She is steller I have no other words the type of nurse I would want to represent my hospital !!!!
