I want to leave a 5 star review as once I was in the office, I loved the care I received. However, the customer service leading up to and after my appointment is very disappointing. When booking my appointment, they gave me hoops to jump through re: insurance. Fine I understand, but the staff was not helpful. I then had to provide my insurance card 3 times. I still understand. Now, I'm post procedure 2 weeks out from a biopsy when I should have results. I have been waiting on hold with their results department for over 30 minutes. I've also tried to reach them via text through Klara, reviewing my patient portal (no results), and their online chat bot on the website. Forget trying to get anyone on the phone through the number. Really disappointing as when it comes to your health and care, you want to have a person to speak to.
I have been extremely satisfied with the service and professionalism that ABIGAIL MITROFF (and her assistants) have provided me over the years. However, it is extremely frustrating if I need to get in touch with the office for a follow-up question. Got lost in voicemail, and no return text questions.
Made appt online, was seen on time (major plus…). Dr. Zaki was professional and personable, cannot ask for anything more. Made an appt for my husband next.
Everyone at Affiliated Dermatology that I recently saw were very professional, but yet friendly. They explained my procedure. Dr. Barr was great. I haven’t taken my large bandage off my cheek yet. Will do so tomorrow. He said he got all the Squamous cancer from the area. It didn’t go very deep he only had 1 underlayer suture and 5 on top layer. I have yet to see results. Sutures don’t come out for 10 more days., Hopefully, it won’t leave much of a scar. I know it takes a little time for final result.
Affiliated Dermatology is great!! Dr. Zaki is absolutely the best!!!!! He has been my doctor there now for a few years and I just love him. He is serious and humerous at the same time, putting me at ease. The only thing I would complain about is the chairs in the waiting room - wow they are all torn up!! There is no where to sit. It makes the place look ghetto. Too bad, really.
I went for a all body mole check and Lindsey NP was very nice and thorough with my visit. I was seen a few minutes after my time scheduled and was done with happy results 😊
This office would have a higher rating from me if it wasn’t for their automated system and patient portal. It took me weeks to get an appointment scheduled due to the portal and the only reason I was able to get it scheduled is because I WENT to the front desk and scheduled IN PERSON. The office staff is great, the NP didn’t come across super friendly, but she might just be shy. The MA was very friendly and gave us samples to get us started. Again, I am attempting to confirm my appointment, but I haven’t not heard back from the office in days. I have left messages, but only get an automated response, advising me to use the portal, but they have created a second portal for me and the patient information is inaccurate, making it inaccessible. Absolute cluster and extremely frustrating. The only reason I stay with this office is because it’s a nightmare finding a new provider that is contracted with my insurance. It doesn’t mean I wont be leaving in the future- it’s just a matter of time before I am so fed up that I choose to drive way out of my way for a better practice.
The office staff was friendly, which saves this review from being a one-star review.
I’m actually dreading my appointment because this practice is so unorganized.
