Spent an hour waiting to be seen just to be called to the back and placed in a room that hadn’t been cleaned after the previous patient. Then when a provider finally came in the room it was not the provider I scheduled to see. I was told my provider had left to do surgery at the hospital which I understand can happen when you go to an OBGYN. However there was no communication of them switch me to a different provider and when I declined and asked to reschedule I was told the next available date wouldn’t be til May. Then the medical assistant said the provider I was scheduled with was still in office and was just running behind and that’s why they moved me and said she would see if my original provider would still see me. At that point I told them to just cancel the appointment altogether because I would be late for work

If you are looking for someplace to get in quickly this definitely fits. But if you're looking for quality care and customer service. This is not it. The first time I went I was misdiagnosed. The second time the scheduling assistant couldn't understand what was needed and we spent almost 35 minutes trying to schedule an appointment. The third time I tried, again the scheduling assistant messed up and put me with a pediatrician unbeknownst to me. The computer was having issues and after having a manager trying to work on it there was still no resolution. I was reminded of the sub-par quality of client and patient care and will never go back.

This review is in response to all of the bad reviews. I have had nothing but excellent care from Adelante. I have had two different doctors, because the first one resigned, and they both have been attentive and compassionate. The reason you have to wait so long for your appointment is because the doctor is taking their time with each patient. I like not feeling rushed during my appointments. When I leave, I feel like all of my needs/concerns have been addressed and that is worth the wait. The staff is always friendly. Everybody I've ever talked to on the phone has been very patient and polite.

Only perk is the ob/gyn Dr Sung Cho is amazing. But today was my last time being with this clinic and will now be going elsewhere. Already made appt at new place. I arrived on time to check in at the place I always go. Then was informed I had to go to other side of the building. So I went to check in and was still at wrong check in. So by the time I got to the right one and explained to the two lady receptionists what happened, I must of been on their s*it list cause that’s how I was treated for being a couple min “late” due to going to wrong place not once, but TWICE. It happens! I was 100% kind the entire time (they don’t know I was a little frustrated and upset). So no reason to treat me like I didn’t matter. So I waited almost two hours in an empty office. No communication from the staff. Got up to ask, and was asked if I could wait till 10:40am (almost 3 hours after my scheduled appt). I said no and walked out as I have a job to get too. Pics to show how empty the place I sat was.

I’ve been trying for over a year to get on a therapists scheduled. My psychiatrist Kathleen Hogarty has been great. But, it took the better part of a year of Kathleen nudging admin to contact me for therapy to finally get me scheduled. My therapists leaves potentially indefinitely and the new therapist doesn’t know a single thing about what’s going on in my life beyond “impending doom”. I’m not dealing with their therapy services anymore. Way to make me feel like a number and not a name. Kathleen is great. My issues are with admin and the other therapists

Spoke to Jesse on the phone today. They were so helpful getting me scheduled and adding notes to my appointment request.

Before we even get into the actual quality of care at this location, they don't have the proper parking to support their office in the areas around them. I tried to go to an appointment on a weekday in the morning, and I felt like I was trying to find parking on Black Friday at the mall. 20 minutes of driving around, and I couldn't find a spot. In the past when I have been able to find parking, I had to walk the equivalent of two blocks to get to the building. Thankfully I am able-bodied, but there are a lot of people that are not. On top of that, whenever they have any issues o with billing, instead of calling you, they just let the owed payments sit there, and wait until you come in the next time to tell you that you have an outstanding balance. When you do actually manage get an appointment, there's a good chance you will be waiting anywhere from 30 minutes to an hour and a half after your appointment time, to actually see the doctor you were trying to see. I've had this issue with three different doctors at this location. I highly encourage you to find your health care somewhere else.

I have been going to Adelante Healthcare for a few years now, first at the Goodyear location and later in Glendale, and always had good experiences — until I went to the Mesa location. Unfortunately, the lack of professionalism and care here is alarming. The gynecology department was friendly, but after a women’s wellness exam — which is already a vulnerable and uncomfortable experience — I never heard back about my results. Instead, I received a text message (not a phone call) saying that my samples had been lost and that I needed to come back in to repeat the exam. No one bothered to call me, explain, or follow up, yet I was still charged for this incomplete visit. Later, I was sent to SimonMed for routine imaging and ended up with a bill that didn’t make sense. That’s when I discovered the doctor had ordered the wrong procedure, which led to unexpected costs because insurance didn’t cover it properly. I might have let this go, but my next experience was even worse. My husband and I both scheduled yearly physicals. His visit was handled correctly, insurance covered it, and everything went smoothly. Mine, on the other hand, was handled terribly. I saw Dr. Kalidindi, who seemed rushed and irritated by my questions. Even though my appointment was clearly booked weeks in advance as a yearly physical, she asked what brought me in. I told her I was there for my checkup and also mentioned I had twisted my ankle the day before. She barely examined it, wrapped it, and moved on. Later, I learned she had reclassified my entire appointment as a regular visit instead of a physical, claiming it was because of my ankle. As a result, insurance didn’t cover it as they should have, and I was left with hundreds of dollars in bills for appointments and procedures I did not ask for and for care that was inadequate. Adelante’s response was essentially that nothing could be done. This means not only did I pay unnecessarily, but my insurance coverage was misused, and I was denied the proper preventative care I came in for. Financial frustrations aside, what troubles me most is the lack of professionalism, accountability, and care. Patients trust providers with their health — the most valuable asset we have — and in my experience, the Mesa location of Adelante Healthcare has been careless, dismissive, and negligent.
