I have only ever had excellent care and service from the doctors and staff and Wilmslow Health Centre since joining them 5 years ago. I have had a number of significant health issues in the past few years and the support I have received has been incredible.
Every-time my kids have been ill, they have had a face to face consultation with a GP on the same day (usually within hours).
Admin staff are also helpful, knowledgeable and always ready to assist.
Requested for appointment was triaged quickly. Was able to chose an appointment a couple of days after an external test was performed. The appoint to review the test and discuss results was on time. The doctor reviewed results, gave me time to discuss my symptoms and draw out additional information. Plan of action agreed and left feeling a lot happier.
Great care and service received by Doctor Saunders. She’s amazing and the best one I have spoken with so far! Very clear and you can tell she cares about her job and about what I had to say. She listens carefully and explains next steps very carefully and clearly. Lovely to talk with and wish I could always have her to visit me.
A very hot day despite a cool waiting area. An elderly patient was asking for a glass of water, and a member of staff obligingly fetched a glass for him, but being rushed and behind with appointments commented that she couldn’t really spare the time. Might it be helpful to provide a jug of fresh water and a few paper cups in Reception to save on staff time? Just a thought🤔

Absolutely great experience last week at my surgery. Sent form in and within ten minutes the surgery rang me with a face to face appointment within the next 30 minutes. Dr Edwards was wonderful and prescribed medication which has really helped my problem and I was seen on time even though it was a very short notice appointment.
I'm there that often these days that some practitioners especially Lyndsey are joy to visit and puts you totally at ease. She really is a credit to your practice. Such a shame that Dr Khokar has left. He was so friendly and thorough.
Was a great doctors surgery… non trans friendly nurses and reception staff now… have been unable to access any services online for 6 months despite multiple requests and refused basic health checks including blood tests… If you’re LGBT, please avoid for your own good… Not at all pro LGBT as stated, finally gave up after two years of hell and have moved to another surgery
As mentioned, previously, nothing has altered my experience of always being very pleased with all my communication and visits to Wilmslow Health Centre.
I was particularly pleased with all of the appointments I have attended, this time around.
Typical man, though; rarely at the doctors. But, after this round of visits I’ll look to behave and rectify that. 🤭
