I have always had positive experiences at the willow family tree Centre. Every time I have attended, I have felt welcomed and cared for, and I have never previously experienced any problems. The doctors and staff have always been kind, professional, and attentive.
Unfortunately, my appointment 29/06/2026 at 6:50 was the worst experience I have had at the practice.
Before my appointment, I received a phone call asking me to come earlier because the doctor needed to leave. I made every effort to arrive early as requested.
During the consultation, I attempted to explain my medical history and the pain I have been experiencing in my leg. However, I felt that the doctor showed very little interest in what I was saying. At one point, I was told, “I’m not interested in that,” while I was trying to explain my medical background and symptoms.
The consultation felt extremely rushed. I did not feel listened to, and I became so uncomfortable that I eventually stopped trying to explain my concerns. The doctor appeared to be in a hurry to finish the appointment as quickly as possible.
I was not properly examined, my symptoms were not fully discussed, and I left without understanding what the problem might be. No meaningful explanation was provided, and I did not feel that my concerns had been taken seriously.
People attend medical appointments because they are worried about their health and need support, guidance, and reassurance. Patients need to feel heard and respected, particularly when discussing ongoing pain or health concerns.
I wanted to provide this feedback because my experience was extremely disappointing and upsetting, especially as it was so different from the high standard of care I have previously received at the Sagewell Centre.
I hope this feedback is taken seriously to help improve future patient experiences.
I have always had a positive experience with this GP practice. Every time I submit an Patch, especially regarding my daughter (3 years old) someone contacts me promptly and makes sure I receive the appropriate appointment or advice.
The staff are professional, caring and helpful, and I appreciate how seriously they take concerns involving young children. We have always felt listened to and supported.
Thank you to the doctors and reception team for your hard work and dedication.
Efficient and attentive. I have been a patient of Willow Tree family Practice for over 10 years, though many GPs have changed in recent years, I am very pleased with the care I consistently receive from the GPs, nurses and healthcare assistants. The staff are caring and proactive, they take the time to listen and crucially ask pertinent questions. I wholeheartedly recommend this practice. I am also heartened by their commitment to the future generation of GPs.
Been a patient for over 35 years- firstly the reception team here are very good unlike many GP surgeries where the reception staff can often make you feel like youre banging your head against a brick wall - my issues are very rarely with the inadequacy’s of the reception team and making appointments or getting things sorted - which is usually done with care and any complaints or concerns are dealt with effectively. In regards to Drs there are some very good drs here and there are also some not so helpful ones. Often there is an issue with continuity of care most noticed since after lockdown however feedback is taken well and dealt with effectively.
So far this Practice and my GP have been outstanding compared to previous doctors. They took me seriously, completed a SAR very quick and the place is very modern and well looked after. There is a chemist next door and service is quick and pleasant.
Wasn’t happy that the doctor wanted to add a new prescription without any discussion and asked a pharmacist to call. Finally when I spoke to the a GP, they only focussed on one condition rather than taking a wholistic view. I don’t feel listened to or understood. Finally the practice is pushing all patients to complete ‘patches’, promising a response within 24-48hours. I submitted a separate patch and a week later and I still haven’t heard anything from them! It feels like patient’s requests are being ‘managed’ through administration rather than being addressed or cared about. Overall not a good experience.
Excellent surgery and always had superb service. However recentlywent to sugery for urgent consultation about neck strain and blepharitis and was very disappointed with the consultation by the locum doctor.Furthermore I was referred to a physio but did not request a one to one video call but face to face physiotherapy. Also I was referred to an opthalmolpgist but the date and venue was way off what i requested.I specifically asked for moorfield eye clinic at Brent Cross but got Northwick Park instead as it's much esier for me to travel to Brent Cross which is neaby. In addition i specifically told the locum that i'll be away from 22nd sept. to 3rd nov.I was appalled to receive an appointment on 23rd September when I will be overseas visiting family. I never experienced such blatant incompetence before at this surgery which I highly recemmended to everyone.
I’ve been a patient of Willow Tree for many years now. I can’t begin to tell you how brilliant they have been throughout. The old and new practice are lovely. The transition to virtual was well planned and considered, easy to use and I noted options for equality, diversity and inclusion; the response is phenomenal to requests - very swift; telephone and f2f appointments are thorough and holistic and genuine; experience of the MSK service has been excellent; check in and reception great. The doctors are all amazing and I’ve seen a few - apologies I can’t remember all the names to specify but I saw Dr Nisha Madan and she was so genuine, warm, thorough and knowledgable, and helped all round. In a time where there is a lot happening in the NHS, thank you for being such a lead for showing how care should be delivered and given. Nadia
