I’ve been coming to this hospital since I was 13, so I’ve experienced the care here many times over the years. Overall, I’ve met some truly kind, compassionate staff who make you feel welcome, cared for, and appreciated during some of the most vulnerable moments of your life. They deserve so much recognition for the difference they make. Unfortunately, I’ve also come across a few staff members who have seemed dismissive or rude, which can be difficult when you’re already feeling unwell or anxious. I also want to acknowledge that the hospital appears to be very short-staffed, and it’s clear that many of the team are working incredibly hard under a lot of pressure. Despite this, so many staff continue to provide excellent care, and I genuinely appreciate their dedication. A very special thank you to the paramedics. Every single time I’ve needed their help, they’ve made me feel safe, listened to, and cared for. Their professionalism, compassion, and reassurance make an incredibly difficult situation so much easier, and I can’t thank them enough for everything they do. Kindness and empathy are never forgotten. Thank you to everyone who goes above and beyond to care for their patients—you make more of a difference than you probably realise.

Middlesex Hospital is large and very busy. I found it very confusing to navigate. During my recent urology appointment, I found it difficult to locate the correct department due to small signage, I needed help from several members of staff to find my way. Parking was also a challenge, as the car park was already full by 9 a.m., though the pay-on-exit system made the process easier once a space became available. Despite these frustrations, the staff were exceptional—friendly, patient, and genuinely helpful. Parking was easy and fully automated paying system

I would like to thank Patience, Kathy, Deborah, and Fecilet in the Gynaecology Department. I am a very nervous patient who hates coming to the hospital, and without them I probably wouldn’t have attended my appointment.I saw them six months ago and they made me feel so safe and comfortable that I wasn’t nervous about coming back today. I was hoping to see them again, and seeing their familiar faces immediately made me feel relieved. They are kind, caring, and always joke around, which helps me forget why I am there. They make the whole experience feel relaxed and before I know it, the check-up is done. I am very grateful for the care they provide. Thank you Patience, Kathy, Deborah and Fecilet for making such positive difference to my hospital visit ! ❤️

For prostate surgery, I was admitted for a day and a night at West Middlesex Hospital in Isleworth, in Richmond Ward to be precise. I found a fantastic environment, very clean, with very professional and always friendly staff. Eunice, the health care assistant, was especially friendly and always available, day and night. Thank you all.

I had an extremely disappointing experience with Dr Sin during an emergency. He was extremely rude, dismissive, and aggressive, and did not properly check me. I honestly don’t know how he got a job in a hospital, as his behavior and attitude were completely unprofessional. His approach added unnecessary stress to an already urgent situation. Hospital management should take action against him to ensure patients are treated with respect and professionalism. I would strongly advise against using his services.

I had a horrible experience today . I was booked yesterday by phone to come to day surgery for a kidney operation. I was told to arrive between 8.30 and 9am. I have autism and have very bad anxiety. I waited 2 hours before I was given a gown and a cannula in my arm prepped for surgery and put on a trolly in a cubicle. After nearly four hours I was told my surgery had been cancelled because they didnt have enough beds and I had lost my slot.I then heard that they knew there wasnt enough beds yesterday. So why book me in ? I was extremely distressed and had a meltdown in the hospital . I have been told I will be contacted next Monday to see if there will be a bed and I can have my surgery. My partner had to take a day of work and is self employed and lost a day pay . He will be taking another day of next week because I need support because of my disability. This isn't the first time west middlesex hospital has cancelled appointments I had 6 cancelled appointment from podiatry this year. I had to be treated at another hospital which was much better. The duty of care is poor with administration and receptionist are often rude in some departments. This is no way to treat a person with autism and im still very distressed by the whole experience ive had today

I had a really positive experience at the hospital, especially in AEC. The staff were amazing from start to finish. The receptionist team, including both the gentleman and the lady on duty, were welcoming, kind, and made the whole process feel easy and stress-free. A special thank you to the lady who looked after me her hospitality was honestly 100%. She went out of her way to make sure I was comfortable, even getting me food and checking in on me regularly. It made such a difference during a time that could have been quite overwhelming. Overall, the care, kindness, and attention I received made me feel genuinely supported. I’m really grateful to the AEC team for making my experience as comfortable and positive as possible.

Easy to park, everyone was friendly and helpful. Seen quickly and teams in phlebotomy, pharmacy and reception were very welcoming. I was a little confused by some of the signage, but a really clean and bright hospital. Staff were smiling and it seemed like a genuinely nice place to work. Have total confidence in my treatment there.
