Our experience at this GP has been great! We have been pleased with the service. Staff are excellent - the practice manager is amazing! She has shown us kindness and professionalism when we have engaged with her, and the rest of the team have been great too. Glad to be registered with a great GP.
Went in this morning because I needed help with my medication dressing and the nurse who saw me (mrs Selina) was excellent. She was very professional, attentive and took the time to listen to my concerns without rushing. She explained everything clearly and made me feel reassured, she even prepared, cut and gave me extra dressing for the coming days. Thank you so much!
I visited Tooting South Medical Centre on 13th May 2026 at 7 pm while feeling very unwell with a 39°C fever. Unfortunately, my experience with one of the receptionists was disappointing. She was wearing a green blouse and did not appear to be wearing a name badge, which made it difficult to identify her. I think she was from Pakistan or India.
She came across as cold and unwelcoming, never smiled and made me feel like I was bothering her simply for asking a question. When patients come in feeling sick and worried, a little kindness and patience can make a big difference. Sadly, I did not feel welcomed or supported during my visit.
Dr Abbas is long time my and ma kids doctor he always gave perfect advice . He loves to help people . He is such humble and caring person I just want to say thank you so much . Lucky to have him in our GP
WORST GP EVER. They don’t read your triage forms and have done NOTHING to help me with my mental health. When I was suicidal and I had a telephone appointment, the only thing the doctors could focus on was me not taking my medication, they scolded me for not taking my medication when I was in crisis. They are NO HELP for mentally ill people and don’t care. They want you to kill yourself
I don’t recommend Dr Ali Abbas. He is extremely dismissive and patronising. Instead of helping me, he tells me that he feels ‘sorry for me’. He didn’t examine me (when he should have) and it was evident that he had no intention of helping until I gave him explicit instructions to write up a private referral letter so I can get proper help. Don’t recommend.
Sean from reception has amazing customer service skills and is very friendly and helpful, ive previously had bad experiences with this GP but he is amazing at his job and has gone out of his way to make sure I got the help I needed.
I joined this practice recently, I’ve never found such difficulty in booking an appointment in my life, online system that’s broken and not inclusive, phoned to book an appointment while being sick they asked me to come in person ONLY to book an appointment.. why do you have a phone for then ? Very unprofessional receptionist answered the phone and if you are dying i wouldn’t recommend you trust them with your health ever
