Parking around the hospital is a nightmare. Better to take the tube. Sainsbury allows 90 mins free parking (for thier customers). Alhumdullilah for the prayer space on floor 2, take lift 5.

The Royal London Hospital: I had a very frustrating experience at The Royal London Hospital. I called NHS 111 and spoke directly with a doctor named Dr Riga, who advised me to come straight to the urgent care department and ask for him. However, when I arrived and spoke to the receptionist, he told me that Dr Riga does not work in urgent care. He also said that NHS 111 often gives wrong information. His tone was rude and unhelpful, which made the situation even more stressful. Instead of properly checking or assisting me, he told me to go to the emergency unit and ask there without clearly explaining anything. This felt dismissive and confusing. Later, another receptionist called me and confirmed that Dr Riga was actually working there, which made the earlier interaction even more frustrating and misleading. I don’t understand why I was given incorrect information at the front desk after being clearly advised by NHS 111. The lack of communication and the rude attitude caused unnecessary stress. I hope the hospital improves staff communication and customer service at reception so patients are treated with more respect and given accurate information.

I had my baby 24/03/26 for begging to end of pregnancy journey was 50/50 . From time to time check was great but when I admitted in the hospital overall experience not that great because I think food quantity was too less and staff behaviour not that great some of was unprofessional but some of them was good . Depends of floor there services different as I discovered. But feeling like stay in this hospital as a 5 star hotel. Nice environment clean tidy rooms outside views stunning. Overall I was great full they help me a lot when I needed and my health baby born in this hospital so for my baby this hospital was a great experience for me. I believe from 8th floor without 2 to 3 staff everything was fine.

Yes the wait time is long, as are all NHS institutions, but in the hours I spent there, every single doctor, nurse, staff member was incredibly kind and supportive, given that they are also under pressure. I spent a total of 16 hours waiting to get an abscess removed. 8 hours on the first day, and had to come back the next morning for surgery. The consultant Mr. Kim kept making sure all my queries were answered, and asking “what are you most worried about” taking the time to hear me. I’ve been seen by other hospitals who are so short and blasé. My most heartwarming moment was when I finally got wheeled into the operation room. I felt incredible care from who I presume to be the lead surgeon, or anaesthetist. The lady with a blonde bob, glasses, who I joked about having bad eyesight with. She asked me so many questions, made sure the environment was positive and cheerful, and held my hand as I began the procedure 😭❤️ Bear in mind I’d checked myself in alone, with no one around for emotional support, and this was what I needed the entire time, and I ended up blubbering after the procedure was done. I wish I caught her name. Post op, great care from nurses, who were also cheerful and helpful. It is Philippines Independence Day today, and there was a joyful environment in the ward. I left with great spirit, a total opposite of when I first entered.

Recently, I visited anti natal wards tongue tie clinic. The experience was amazing. Both midwives were patient to listen our concerns and guided us on right approach. Our appointment lasted about 45 minutes. The procedure was quick but know-hows, detailed discussion and information provided by Fumni was thorough. Great support and professionalism There is a sofa and couple of chairs if you have to wait while midwives are attending the patient.

We were very happy and impressed with the excellent care and treatment our son received from the Paediatric Plastic Surgery team at Whitechapel Hospital. Everyone involved was professional, polite, caring, and compassionate, which made a stressful experience much easier for both our son and our family. From admission through to discharge, the entire process was well organised, clearly explained, and efficiently managed. Our son underwent surgery for a broken finger, and everything went very well. We felt reassured and supported every step of the way. Thank you to the whole team for your outstanding care and dedication.

Pretty disappointing. Went in with a broken foot (5th metatarsal). Initially I was seen to quite quickly (sent to x-ray) but then sat in x-ray department for hours as I was just told to sit outside. Apparently I was suppose to go to urgent care which I wasn't told until the new shift started and were checking everyones vitals. They told me I had been discharged because they were calling me and I wasn't coming forward, because I wasn't in the correct department. Urgent care is at least a 10 min walk for an able bodied person so with a broken foot, much longer. They did call me a porter to take me across after this error was noticed. I then sat in urgent care for probably an hour. I was given a recovery shoe that was much to big for me (large, I am a small) they didn't have anything else available and was told i could buy one online from amazon (this was on a Friday night/Sat morning). So basically I was given crutches and a few painkillers for a broken foot and sent home. That is the kind of care our taxes pay for now and you will have to cover the rest. I've just paid over £100 for a cast

Be very carefull in the renal wards/ Nerology and ENT my partner was an inpatient who has kidney failure and has to have dialysis 3 times a week. She also suffers from siezures. So because of this she has to take anti siezure medication every day but MUST NOT be taken before a dialysis session. Some how the nurses gave my partner her anti siezure medication Before her dialysis possibly on more than one occasion in a row which washes out any medication in the blood. This is what happend. Because she was given her very important anti siezure meds BEFORE her dialysis my partner had started having alot of siezures in one week due to this shocking and avoidable mistake which she never fully recovered from. She was discharged sooner than expected and died at home a week later from a cardiac arrest due to many missed complications. And after all our concerns about her deteriorating health was ignored. She was doing so well before these siezures and was fit and ready to come home to her family all we needed was a tube taken out of her neck and she was ready to go. But she wasnt the same after the siezures and after a list of errors and failures she is not with us anymore. She was only 38 years old. Please be careful when In the care of this hospital. Even though the nurses can be very helpful serious mistakes will still happen and keep happening. This renowned teaching hospital is clearly not teaching simple practices properly which has now become deadly and there will be many more because they seem clueless.I am launching a full investigation through PALS and I urge anyone else who has suffered similar to do the same. Don't trust their final word.
