The staff have been amazing from start to finish. Dr Sugathan is an amazing surgeon. He did the same surgery on my left foot and calf, and I trusted him for the right foot, to get the same amazing results! The ladies at the pharmacy, despite having issue to get my medication, called me daily until I got them. The nurses that took my cast off were very patient with me and took the time to reassure me while I was having a meltdown. Even on the day of the surgery (before and after the surgery) every single staff I met was compassionate, taking the time to talk to me, reassuring me and my husband. I felt very special and taking care of. Thank you so much for everything!
The hospital staff were completely amazing! From the receptionist to the surgeon! I had the nurse come and check up on me every hour to ensure i was okay, the catering team offer me a variety of decisions on the menu and the domestic team keeping everything clean for my short stay - everyone was nothing but lovely. This was my first procedure under general anaesthetic which i was dreading for days but the staff made it so easy and comfortable throughout. Friendliest staff and cannot fault anything. Thank you again!
My experience at Highfield Hospital, was excellent. I was provided with the best care, treatment, great advice. Feeling comfortable and relaxed throughout my experience with the professional help and support and outstanding service and caring support.The Linenwood department team was fantastic but and I wanted to appreciate and Thank Kelly, one of the nurses working the day of my procedure. Kelly was one the kindest most wonderful, cheerful and helpful person I’ve ever come across. She was fantastic with me and helps and assisted me with all my wants and needs.

I have just come home from day surgery at The Highfield Hospital and I am so grateful to the wonderful staff who looked after me. Thank you so much to Tracy who put me at ease before going in despite me having some specific anxieties about the surgery. Thank you Kelly for your post surgery kindness and warmth, to Mo and Muditha for helping me manage my nerves with your humour and complete professionalism, and to Grace for your post-op kindness too. My surgeon and consultant Dr Khurram Siddique has been brilliant at every stage too. Thank you to all the staff including the reception and catering staff for helping make today so much better and easier than I could have hoped for. You are all brilliant.
I had knee surgery here yesterday and would like to thank all the staff involved in my treatment. Everyone was very friendly, professional, and supportive throughout the process. They helped put me at ease and made what could have been a stressful experience much more comfortable. I really appreciate the excellent service and support I received.
A special thank you to Shehrana, who went the extra mile. She was incredibly kind, compassionate, and professional, and her support was greatly appreciated.
I would also like to mention the two porters who assisted me during my visit, the porter who took me to the operating theatre and the porter who escorted me out in a wheelchair at the end of the day. Both were extremely polite, friendly, and professional, and their kindness was very much appreciated.

From the moment I was referred and accepted as an NHS patient, the service was first class. There was a very welcoming, organised and calm atmosphere although it was very busy and staff seemed happy at their work. Attention to detail was spot on. All the staff were amazing, hardworking, professional but also friendly and made me feel relaxed and safe. The hospital was spotless, food was delicious and the care, comfort and concern given by the nursing staff couldn’t have been any better. The only thing I felt I needed was at least another night’s stay. A very heartfelt and special thank you to the pre op team, the surgical team, the physiotherapists and of course the Dr and nurses who took care of me, especially staff nurse Tracy. All outpatients appointments already sorted and I was sent home with everything I need. Follow up check a few days after was made over the telephone to see how I was and if I had any concerns. The whole experience was so positive and I am very grateful I was able to have my hip replacement surgery at Highfield Hospital. Thank you.
Just been today for a joint injection and, as usual, everyone was so lovely. From the reception team, to Dr Gupta & Jemma, everyone was really helpful and friendly. Dr Gupta gave the injection with Jemma’s assistance and they explained everything and put my mind at ease - so professional and kind, you really feel cared for. Thank you
