I’ve been seeing Dr Jones for consultations, and her care has been excellent. She is attentive, thorough, and genuinely interested in my wellbeing, explaining things calmly and making me feel reassured.
The team is professional and supportive, and the practice and overall standard is comparable to a private clinic. I feel well looked after and confident in their care.
This is a lovely caring practice. Spotted my cancer before I did, early diagnosis and treatment and I’m all clear a year later. They always get back to me within a day by phone. They contact me and I’ve never felt hurried. Exactly where I want to go when I’m feeling sick and a bit vulnerable.
I couldn’t recommend this surgery higher.

This is by far the best NHS GP practice I have come across in London. Super easy to get in touch, quick response, staff at reception are incredibly helpful, welcoming and professional. The app patchs is definitely a plus making the doctors very easy to contact. BUT the only downside of the practice is the waiting time for blood tests (which is why I am giving 4 stars instead of 5) - you get an appointment face to face same day super easy but then have to wait 10-15 days minimum for blood tests so I have ended up doing the blood tests privately a lot of the times to speed up things which is far from ideal.
I’m impressed with my Medical Practice Center - St John’s wood.
Soon after I completed the Patches, I received the confirmation of appointment and seeing a doctor in two hours.
On 07/05/2026 I visited the Practice Center for my Frozen Shoulder problem, Dr Abadi was attentive and made me feel comfortable, discussing my problem, explaining clearly. 30 minutes later, I got my prescription and same day I received a referral for physiotherapy by email.
I have just joined this practise. It came highly recommended. I was seen for the first time by Dr Saul Kaufman today. I was warmly welcomed by Dr Kaufman he reviewed all my records so far. He was attentive to all my details and questions. From my first experience I am convinced I made a wise choice to have him as my GP. I am very grateful. It's about six months since I joined this surgery and my medical care is being well looked after from prompt action of delivering prescriptions and advice about new medications. Today I saw Dr Kaufman as I was experiencing some symptons that I could not identify. He sat and listened and at the end of the session I already felt much better. He identified the symptons and through his quality of listening and being a great docter I felt a great relief and the symptons started to ease.
Their customer service is appalling. Last week Wednesday I walked into the practice to make an appointment for both of my parents who are in their 60s for a general health check and blood test. I was told by a lady called Irena at reception that while she can do it for my dad she won’t be able to book it for my mum and we need to use Patches, their online booking system, to book it for my mum and then they’ll be able to see her together with my dad. Mum requested it immediately, received a reply saying to email them back which she’s done same day. Next thing was the message from the practice that they’re looking into it and if no one comes back to us within 2 days we have to call them. Which already doesn’t make sense after walking in, completing patches request and sending an email with exactly the same information. Well, no one bothered to contact her and we finally called them to be told almost a week later that unfortunately they won’t be able to book her in together with my dad. When I walked back in saying that I specifically requested an appointment for two of them last week and being advised by their staff that it is possible if we do it on patches same day then they’ll be able to provide it, staff at reception said to me today “well you called us too late and we can’t help” ignoring the fact that last Wednesday we have done everything that we were asked to do. Where are the standards? Why you made us do all above and still provide no service? Manager of course wasn’t in to speak with. It is extremely stressful for older people to make appointments especially when they try their best and followed all instructions given to end up without the date that was promised. Awful service and treatment for their clients.
I was extremely happy with the treatment I received at the St. John's Wood Medical practice over the last few days after the results of a routine blood test showed some deficiences. Dr. Kaufman saw me promptly and suggested further tests. Dr. Rhian Jones then contacted me and prescribed some medication and booked me in for another appointment after Christmas. Both Doctors were very sympathetic and kind.
I’ve always found them very responsive and very accommodating in making necessary appointments for me. They’re always quick to reply and patch’s works really well. Dr Kauffman is a great doctor and very knowledgeable, he has always helped me very quickly and is always reassuring when I see him.
