Every time I visit this Specsavers store, I have a really positive experience. The team are welcoming, approachable, and attentive from the moment you walk in. A few months ago, when I ordered my glasses, Rodney, Stephen, and another member of staff who was a shorter lady with dark hair (apologies, I didn't catch her name!) were all incredibly patient and helpful, especially with someone as indecisive as me. More recently, I attended for a contact lens trial, and the optician was knowledgeable and made the appointment feel relaxed and informative. I've visited other local Specsavers branches where I've sometimes felt a little overlooked when I first arrived or found the service less attentive, so the consistently warm and helpful service at this store has really stood out to me. 3emails, 2 texts messages, 2 phone calls later and I m finally at my appointment ( I booked 2 appointments for my daughter & myself)Been seeing quickly. Prescriptions done, to my surprise wrong name and address on my prescription. It has been amended but who knows if I have correct prescription. Been asked to wait in the middle room for my glasses to be glazed when I am being called in for pre check. I already been seen!! My daughter had finished before me and they told her she needed to do the pre check and it was £5 extra. When I joined my daughter and asked what that test was the staff member said it was part of the eye test and it was included in the price. I m now confused?! Anyway we both had it done. Pre check lasted less than 10 minutes and in that time about 3 staffs members walked into the room. No privacy. We finally got to the payment part. We got either £5 or£10 I think off for that pre check I will have to return to get my glasses ( hopefully with right prescription) Not impressed and I will definitely not go back.

I had a very positive experience with this store years ago — Recently I had an eye test here, but I felt I received very little information about the results or what prescription would be recommended. Unfortunately, collecting my glasses was also disappointing.
