I had an urgent issue with my glasses when one of the lenses came out due to what appeared to be a manufacturing fault. I went into Specsavers without an appointment, and the team were incredibly helpful.
A special thank you to Paris and Beth, who quickly and professionally fixed my glasses and replaced the faulty lens. They were friendly, efficient, and reassuring throughout the whole process.
The entire team made me feel welcome and looked after, despite me arriving without a booking. I’m very grateful for the excellent customer service and would highly recommend Specsavers to anyone needing help with their glasses.

Specsavers in Broadmead ,Bristol are just the best. So helpful,friendly and efficient. The service is excellent and the staff are a joy. On my recent visit we waxed lyrical about our cats and had a proper time getting to know each other. Jodi is an utter joy 😊, if you want great glasses and fantastic afternoon go!!!
I have been using Specsavers for a long time (30 years or so) and wanted to post about my experience this time. My eye tests were to the usual high quality and when I went to choosea pair of glasses and sunglasses Ewelina really went above and beyond to find a pair of sunglasses that weren't on display but exactly matched what I wanted. She also made sure I was able to get a varifocal prescription on them. I just picked them up and they're great and the service was really good. The reason I always come back to Specsavers is the staff, always friendly and efficient!
Very friendly and helpful staff. Hannah did my eye test and helped answer all my questions about the different tests and taught me some interesting facts about eyes. I came back a week later to look at frames and Grayson helped me choose what sort of lenses would be best for me by going through all the options and explaining the difference. He made it such a lovely experience, I would definitely recommend this Specsavers as the staff all have confidence, knowledge, and kindness in their work, as well as store efficiency in waiting times and a large range of glasses to choose from.
The booking process was straightforward and quick. I didn't have to wait weeks for an appointment, and the reminders I received beforehand were helpful without being excessive. Little things like that tell you a lot about how a business is run.
When I arrived, I was greeted warmly and made to feel completely at ease. The waiting area was clean, modern and comfortable, and I wasn't left sitting there for ages. The whole experience felt respectful of my time, which I really appreciated.
The eye test itself was excellent. The optometrist was thorough, professional, and took real care to explain everything clearly. I never felt rushed or like I was just being moved through a conveyor belt of appointments. She walked me through my results in plain language, answered all my questions patiently, and I left genuinely understanding my prescription for the first time. That level of care and communication is not something you find everywhere.
Choosing my frames was also a far better experience than I expected. The staff member who assisted me was knowledgeable, honest, and genuinely helpful — not pushy in the slightest. She listened to what I was looking for, made confident suggestions, and gave me honest feedback. I ended up with a pair I absolutely love, which has never really happened to me before with glasses shopping.
Paris provided excellent service when fixing my glasses. They were friendly, professional, and repaired them quickly. They also made sure the fit was comfortable before I left. I’m very happy with the service and would happily recommend Paris and the team.
Absolutely lovely staff, very friendly and made getting an eye test much less stressful. Ewelina was really helpful in picking new glasses and making sure they were the best choice without being overwhelming!

When I came to collect my sunglasses, Ewelina was incredibly attentive. She noticed that the glasses were sitting too tightly on the bridge of my nose before I even mentioned it. She carefully adjusted them, and now they fit perfectly and are so comfortable to wear.
