I called Sheffield Mobility this morning and was able to explain the problem we were having with the family Scooter. After booking me in for a visit I was called back and offered a cancellation slot, which was very convenient. Stephen, the engineer, called me to tell me he was only 10 mins away. Stephen was extremely helpful, polite and friendly. He diagnosed and solved the battery problem immediately. We now again, have a fully functioning Scooter! I'm an very pleased as this will now allow my father-in-law to get his mobility back. Thank you for that!
Sheffield Mobility have been tremendously helpful sorting out an issue with an electrical rise and recline sofa for my 93 year old mother. That is a crucial piece of equipment for her independent living. Kirsty in the office is friendly, efficient and helpful in responsively sorting out appointments as quickly as possible and Steve who undertakes repairs is skillful and also thoughtful in how he approaches jobs, reassuring and dealing appropriately with clients. We have been very impressed by the way the comoany takes safeguarding seriously and makes sure that family members, as well as clients, know exactly who will be arriving and when. The company provide best value for money and we have used them more than once. We are happy to recommend them and are posting this review at our suggestion, not theirs.
I've used this company for a few years and have always been treated with polite and consideration. They are very efficient and Sam always talks and explains things which you can understand. I would fully recommend them for their service in both maintaining scooters and their sales team.
Just bought a mobility scooter from Sheffield Mobility. The service from the staff in the shop was excellent. Natalie delivered the scooter to our home and spent time explaining everything to us and she demonstrated again how i to fold and unfold the scooter, she then went through the scooter insurance policy. Great service. Thank to all the staff.
I had a great experience with Jamie & Natalie at Sheffield Mobility who were both friendly and knowledgeable and I would definitely recommend.
I previously had a used scooter bought cheaply privately which lasted me a year. I went to Sheffield Mobility after going to two other scooter shops.Although they were both pleasant they didn't give me the in depth advice that Jamie did. One wanted to sell me a carbon fibre scooter that didn't fit my body and couldn't test drive it in or outside the tiny shop and despite advertising trying scooters at home told me this wasn't possible. The other was expensive and not really suitable for what I wanted it for.
Initially I wanted a lightweight folding scooter but as I quite a few big hills locally Jamie advised against it because they aren't designed for that and wouldn't last.
After trying several scooters in the shop & local area some were brought to me at home so he could advise which would be most suitable & I could decide which felt best for me.
I ended up buying both a used scooter which splits into manageable parts for going out for trips and a Baja Bandit to use locally, both for less than the price of the carbon fibre scooter! Although it's not what I intended it's definitely what I need for Sheffield's hills and I'm very happy they will get out & about for a long time to come.
Natalie delivered the Bandit to me, explained everything & set the months free insurance up. It's good to know the team there are available if I have any problems.
Sheffield Mobility also offer a care package which includes a yearly service, warranty visits at home if there are any problems & a scooter bag which is good value.
I was initially put off visiting Sheffield Mobility because of their location in Hillsborough, as I thought parking might be difficult but there are disabled parking spaces and so I had no problems. I would definitely recommend visiting Sheffield Mobility as they are a local independant business offering a very wide range of items, both new and used. They give honest trustworthy advice to help you decide what will best suit your needs and budget and reliable follow up advice and service.
We cannot recommend this team highly enough. We needed adaptations very quickly to get my dad out of hospital and home. There response was swift, professional and Natalie kept us up to date multiple times a day..

Kirsty at Sheffield Mobility could not have been more helpful to us when I called in a panic needing a charger for my daughter’s power chair. We were visiting Sheffield Children’s hospital from Ireland and forgot her charger. Not only did she urgently source the correct charger but the shop made a huge donation to the cost of the charger to facilitate its donation to the hospital!
