Having had life saving surgery 24/04/26 by the excellent surgical team under Consultant Miss Anya Adair. There are no words to express how exceedingly exceptional the team are. I will be forever grateful and thankful. Also all the staff on HDU Staff Base C with their exceptional care and kindness. Can't praise you all highly enough! Thank you very much! Absolutely outstanding!
I was admitted with chest pains and the waiting room was super busy, I was rushed through for tests. I arrived around 12:30am and released at 8:30am. All the staff were lovely especially Emma the Senior Charge nurse, she was so amazing and kind even though she was rushed off her feet . I was sent for a CT scan with a young nurse whose name I won’t mention but whilst she waited with me she whipped out her phone and didn’t say a single reassuring word to me or even engage. I found this highly unprofessional. All in all though they are doing a marvellous job under difficult circumstances
Neurology appointment staff
Phoned to general enquiry about best way to go about getting someone's name on fikes to deal with appointment and phone up etc just enquiry not giving patients details data .and ask in general how long the Urgent referrals are taking patient very ill very ill .she had none of it did not even discuss it .going on about data . It was not about patients data . She was rude sarcastic and put phone down . I'm a patient at Neurology and always been great . This appointment's staff today was shocking shocking and we are talking about best way forward in this situation. Disgracefull she dhoukd not be answering these calls

The rude unhelpful appointment receptionist earlier thanks the lot your in the wrong job speaking to people like that
I was taken as an emergency on Friday 13th to A&E. I had my Gallbladder removed on Monday from the minute i was admitted i had the best care. I was in Ward 106/7 the nurses and all staff were extremely nice and there care was second to none. Mr. Ravindran and his team who operated on me i would like to thank for there care and making me feel normal again without pain can't thank everyone enough. Will be forever grateful❤️
The overall treatment and care from the doctors was top notch. They were really kind and had good bedside manners. The only disappointment was the reception team, well one in particular. There was a young dark haired woman, and 2 middle aged women. The receptionist with the grey long hair and glasses was actually professional and polite. The other however was the complete opposite. Maybe in her head she's still 12 years old I don't know but the attitude and lack of manners from her left me baffled why she's even there.
I was recently taken to A&E for an accident I had on the escalator at Waverly train station. I was treated in the Trauma Center. My injuries were treated with expertise, compassion and empathy! Although I never got the last names of all the team, I will give a shout out to Dr. Graham and Dr
Sarah. As a tourist on my way to Inverness, I was (am) so very grateful with the exemplary treatment I received while there.
I could go on and on but I will end by saying that the medical team at Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh made me a believer in humanity. And I thank you!!
I have a physical disability and had an MRI scan on April 11, 2026. I want to know about the nerve damage I have because I am tired and in severe pain. I've called them several times and they tell me to leave a message. I need them to send my medical report to my home, and this is my right. Will they be responsible if my nerves are damaged due to the delay?
Was expecting better, but the fact the doctor came and said to me that I had to stay in for a couple days after surgery then this one nurse who herd him, came to me the next day and say alright get ready and you can head back home. 1 the doctor literally said in front of you I’m staying as I’m in pain and 2 I live in another area of Scotland so where am I heading home to? If I’m still in pain and the hospital 4+ hours from here in my area doesn’t accommodate to my illness? It was pretty disgusting behaviour.
