I am always happy whenever l have course to be at my GP surgery, nice people, always ready to help, even go out of their way to make make you receive your treatment. My Gp listen very carefully, and give necessary medical attention immediately, also follow up with phone conversations to make sure l am okay. Thank you so much Minet Surgery . well done for looking after your clients very well. Thankbyou.
I cannot thank my GP, Dr Davies, enough for the exceptional care, support, and attention she has given me throughout my appointments. She always takes the time to listen carefully to my concerns, thoroughly reviews my issues, and provides clear advice and reassurance whenever needed. Her professionalism, compassion, and genuine dedication to her patients truly stand out. I always leave feeling heard, supported, and confident in the care I’m receiving. Thank you Dr Catriona Davies for your outstanding service and commitment.
Excellent surgery with genuinely friendly and helpful GPs and admin staff. Appointments are easy to get, and the follow-up care is fantastic—my GP even called to check in after my appointment. Thank you!
Dr James Eastaway is a wonderful human being as well as an excellent professional.
I must admit that I’ve had some less positive experiences at this health centre in the past, but I also have to acknowledge and congratulate all the support staff and Dr James Eastaway for the care and assistance they provided during my recent visits.
Thank you all very much.
Many thanks Dr James Eastaway
I had a very positive experience with my GP. They were professional, attentive, and took the time to listen carefully to my concerns. I really appreciated how clearly everything was explained and that I never felt rushed during the appointment. Their care and reassurance made a big difference, and I felt confident in the treatment plan. Thank you for providing such thoughtful and patient-focused care.
I waited for 3 weeks to get a face-to-face appointment with the GP. My appointment was for 9.30am and I wasn't seen until 9.48am which was abit annoying especially that I had to run back to work. However the GP was patient and helpful whilst giving me all options available and referred me to other specialists for other investigations.
It felt really good to be seen face-to-face as she checked my heart beat and showed care and empathy rather that the telephone consultation .
I wish we could go back to being seen by our GP instead of talking to different doctors on phone each time you seek medical advice
My last experience was shocking.
I asked for a blood test as I had a pain in the leg for a while. First I was told they don't do a certain test in the community.
Then on further discussion was told we do, but we have to follow it up and do a scan. But they don't think it is needed and they will have to follow up the results if they send for scan or a blood tesr.
The reason for doing any test is to follow the result up surely.
Sounded very dismissive and rude.
The doctors as there was two of them did not sign post me in any way.
No advice given what so ever about the pain.
No mention of what to do if gets worse.
No mention of things to look out for, such as temperature, redness, breaks in the skin.
No pain relief and no follow up offered.
I was concerned about having a blood clot and was dismissed and was not listened to and my concerns were not heard or understood.
As the patient who was worried they did not put me at ease or reassure me that it should get better and if not, no advice given of what to do next.
The ST2 also was quite happy to give hrt without a recent FSH level.
When asked could it be rechecked, his response, was no need if you want HRT, we will just give it to you.
Absolutely diabolical.
I have been asking for help for the same issue for 4 years now. These doctors don’t listen. They act like somehow they know my body better than me even though I am the one in it, there are side issues I haven’t even been able to ask about because of how long this is taking. It’s exhausting. They don’t put you with the same doctor so it’s difficult to build up a relationship, it’s clear that many of the doctors (and physiotherapist) don’t listen to women. I asked for help regarding my skin specifically on my face and I was prescribed something that specifically said not to use it on your face. I have been registered here since I was a child but it’s an awful surgery and I would say don’t go here if you can help it
