I really do not know why MedAway gets such negative reviews, my experience was 5 stars, I was well looked after, the nurses were friendly, only 1 of them there was a slight issue they didn’t wear gloves, other than that the nurses were caring, and I stayed in the Orion building a hospital, which was absolutely spotless, completely sterile, I was comfortable there, i had nurses bring me in food regularly and check on me, I also had my surgery there, breast enlargement, I went by myself, my surgeon dr Feryal did a great job, I often get compliments on my boobs now, I was transferred to the 5 star hotel, Marriott bonvoy, absolutely lovely hotel, I had the lovely nurse come and check on me regularly to, and any aftercare information I asked I was responded to quickly and efficiently via WhatsApp, and I was taken to the airport runs, I truly had a lovely stay at the Marion hotel, thank you MedAway, thank you very much 🤍❤️

I opted to book in with medaway for a rhinoplasty after doing some small research and the reviews and photos I saw seemed good. Price also very reasonable for what was included and the staff were helpful in lead up to booking.
My experience was a scary one I was coming to Istanbul alone as opted to do this on my own just felt I would recover easier and was trying to be brave. The staff and everyone at medaway are excellent and professional. I felt my surgeon dr akin sahin was a quiet man but professional and helpful. I don’t feel the initial consultation was brilliant as it happened just before the procedure itself and I feel this should be done in a more professional setting the day before surgery where patient is in better sense of mind but maybe I am being fussy. I also thought I could design my new nose on a computer and was so scared not knowing in anyway how was going to be before I went down. This is my only real issue.
My recovery has gone very well and I am happy with the aftercare and advice given.
The service was excellent and super efficient I felt my experience was made stress free and easy as was well organised. Travelling alone also was worrying but it was all fine and I was looked after.
I am waiting to see the full results of my surgery as only day 10 post op but I am feeling optimistic and happy everything went well and smooth and I would recommend medaway and dr sahin for rhinoplasty to all potential patients. My experience was a good and pleasant one and I am excited to see my full results which I expect to be good based on my care received :) (photos including the amazing food at the gorrion hotel where I stayed attached) thank you again !
NIGHTMARE EXPERIENCE — AVOID MEDAWAY
Before flying out, I was told I’d have to stay overnight BEFORE the surgery — something that made no sense to me but they insisted. Then when I actually arrived, that plan went completely out the window. Suddenly they decided to do everything same-day and were completely disorganised, not even knowing what sedation I was meant to have.
Then, right before the procedure, I was told I now “needed a second surgery” to get good results — something they clearly knew in advance but never mentioned. The price was suddenly increased and I was pressured to decide on the spot while scrambling to transfer money and double-check information on this second surgery. I was warned that if I didn’t agree immediately, they would delay.
After the operation, things only got worse. One nurse handled me so roughly on the surgical area that it caused severe pain — I later realised how unacceptable that was and made a complaint the next day. The other nurses weren’t any better. They refused to help when I was bleeding heavily — I had to sleep in a bed of blood no matter how many times I asked for help. I was in severe pain, with no one around to provide pain relief straight after, and even when staff did appear, they couldn’t communicate properly in English, which made everything even more frightening.
I later found out they often run “sales” or drop the price if you say no at first. The private transfer is a shared shuttle.
The surgeon herself was kind, but everything else — from the planning to the aftercare — was chaotic, misleading, and deeply distressing.
NOT TO MENTION CROSS CONTAMINATION - watching the nurses work, I was very concerned that cross contamination could and does go on in this hospitals - this is the "you get what you pay for" part but I would be very concerned and if you're thinking about coming here please understand even if the surgeon is okay, they can still harm you in other ways

Had a liposuction almost 3 weeks ago. If your someone who isn't sure about this clinic and the quality they deliver rest assured as they are number 1.
Had a liposuction around my hips and no matter of diet and excersize i did i couldnt get rid if it.
Medaway offered me a vaser liposuction for an amazing price which i couldnt refuse and now 3 weeks post op I feel no pain and i feel amazing.
Can't explain the feelong of how much I love my physique right now. Im so much more confident and feel mentaly rejuvinated and i can't thank medaway enough for giving me such an amazing result. My result will definetely show after 3 more months of recovery I managed to get right back into work the moment I came back to London and I feel great when im working knowing my hip fat is non existent.

I’ve had a great experience from Medaway. I flew from Wales to Istanbul for a BA and BL with Dr Zafer.
The communication was great and I was looked after from the moment I was collected from the airport.
The nursing staff in the hospital listened to me and provided everything I needed.
Dr Zafer had a great bedside manner and made me feel comfortable through the whole experience.
The transport to and from hospital/hotel/airport was always on time. The hotel is great and the food options are brilliant. I did think a nurse would be visiting me everyday at hotel but I had to request to see one and there was a while to wait for this.
Currently waiting on my final check up but overall really happy with my experience and would recommend Medaway to others.

Currently 2months post tummy tuck and I couldn’t be happier.
The hospital was clean tidy and peaceful, the nurses where so friendly and helpful my surgeon was an absolute star I was particularly happy that she was a female cause she knew more about the female body and what I was wanting.
The transfers was fast and on time. Occasionally asked if we was happy to go with other patients which we was fine with, although the driving was slightly manic.
The aftercare was also good which is what I was worried most about but I could message them on WhatsApp and get help almost instantly.
All in all great experience and would highly recommend to anyone looking to get surgery.
The team were very good from start to finish. They were always quick to respond to any quiries that I had. The transport from the airport to hotel and hospital was very nice and comfortable. The hotel I was put it was good standard and the procedure itself was handled well. The team was with me the whole time making sure that I was ok and looked after. I was very anxious for the procedure but overall it was a great experience and very glad I took the plunge and had it done.
Absolutely Excellent from start to finish. I came over from UK for an implant and the service provided from being picked up to being escorted throughout the time in Istanbul was amazing.
The staff and dentists are very friendly and I highly recommend anyone to use this company.
The only negative I could find was the hotel’s location within Istanbul as it’s fairly remote and I didn’t like the area.
