Nice spacious surgery. Lots of parking. Clean and clinical. Polite and helpful receptionists. Better to get evening appointments as it’s less busy and easier to get parking. Check in screen makes it easier. Usually a small delay in seeing dr or nurse. This is reflected on the screen when you check in.

I’ve been a patient at Manor View Practice for nine years, but unfortunately my experience with the reception team has often been disappointing. I’ve found the level of customer service and helpfulness to be quite poor, particularly during times when support and understanding are most needed. A little more empathy and a more approachable manner on the phone would make a big difference. For this reason, I’ve given a one-star rating.”

Had the best treatment from Dr Amlani yesterday. Very thorough in her questioning and understanding. Had a call from her later to check in on me and to alter the treatment we had discussed. Appointment was right on time which is a nice change.

I have had an excellent level of care from Dr Amlani. She has been painstaking and supportive and my condition appears to be getting better. We have always been very impressed and grateful for the care we receive from MVP.

One good doctor in my 3 years registered, since then I was referred to hospital for surgery and had a very bad experience and I don't think the aftercare was considered at all. I have not been able to get any prescription on repeat even though I had discussed to be on the meds long term and it is not recommended to abruptly stop taking them. I have also had multiple phone appointments where I was called hours before or after. Not close to the time provided at all, this puts me out and I often have to miss appointments and don't manage to schedule another for a while. I was also referred to the in house mental health practitioner who was not considerate of my issues at all and when I requested a new appointment it was never organised.

I would give no stars if that were possible. I contacted the surgery to arrange an appointment to have stitches removed and was spoken to in an extremely rude and unprofessional manner by a male receptionist. When asked when I would like the appointment, I replied “as soon as possible.” In response, I was spoken to sharply and told that I could not call and expect an appointment the same day. I calmly explained that I was not expecting a same-day appointment and was simply answering the question I had been asked. Despite this, the receptionist continued to speak in a dismissive and condescending way, using phrases such as “say no more,” which I found wholly inappropriate and unprofessional in a healthcare setting. After eventually offering me an appointment for two days later, the receptionist ended the call abruptly the moment I confirmed, without any courtesy or confirmation. This forced me to call back, wait a further 10 minutes, and speak to another receptionist to ensure the appointment had actually been booked. In contrast, the second receptionist was polite, professional, and helpful, which only highlighted how unacceptable the first interaction was. I was also informed that calls are recorded, and I sincerely hope management listens to this call, as the behaviour displayed was entirely unsuitable for someone dealing with patients. People contact their GP surgery because they need medical care and support, not to be spoken to rudely or treated with impatience and disrespect. I will be submitting a formal complaint, as this level of conduct should not be tolerated in a healthcare environment.

A very bad practice . It is not possible to see a doctor even for patients with severe conditions. Their procedures for filling up a form for private medical insurance takes up to 28 days.

I’ve always had a really positive experience with this practice. The whole team are super kind, professional, and genuinely take the time to listen. I’ve consistently felt supported and taken seriously, especially when dealing with ongoing health concerns. Communication is clear, and the care feels thoughtful rather than rushed. I really trust the team here and appreciate the support they provide. Thank you.
