I recently visited London Private Ultrasound for a scan costing nearly £300, and unfortunately the experience did not meet expectations. On arrival, the directions instructed patients to go next door and into a basement location, which immediately felt unprofessional. The clinic itself appeared run-down and not particularly clean, especially considering the premium price being charged. The waiting area was disappointing and felt below the standard you would expect from a private healthcare provider.
One particularly concerning issue was the complete lack of privacy. While waiting, I could clearly hear the doctor’s entire conversation with the previous patient, which made me very uncomfortable and raised concerns about confidentiality standards.
The doctor was polite and kind, but the scan itself did not feel especially thorough or reassuring. As someone who has annual follow-up scans elsewhere, this experience lacked the level of care and confidence I’m used to receiving. I left feeling £300 poorer and still quite anxious about my health concerns. Reading other reviews afterwards mentioning diagnostic mistakes only added to my unease.
Highly recommend this clinic! It is a fantastic, reasonably priced alternative to long NHS waiting lists and expensive private care.

I was seen within 15 minutes - they were kind and efficient and knowledgeable and everything was explained to me. The blood draw facility around the corner was also great. The facilities were a teeny bit shabby but I would take expertise over upholstery every time. Pricey but I am nothing without my health. I would absolutely recommend and I would absolutely return if need arose. Easy to book online and you don’t need an outside doctor to grab a spot. I arrived early and they saw me early. The doctor even left his lunch to return to take care of me. Amazing. I was in good hands and felt safe.
I recently booked an ultrasound check for breast cancer and was really impressed with the service I received. After a telephone consultation, they were able to offer me a same-day appointment, which was incredibly fast and efficient.
When I arrived, I was warmly welcomed by the lovely receptionist. The clinic was very clean, and all the staff were friendly and professional. Dr Reza was extremely thorough, professional, and reassuring throughout the examination, making me feel very comfortable.
Overall, I was very happy with my experience here and would highly recommend this clinic.
I booked in for a breast ultrasound with Mr Eduardo Murakami at the St.Albans clinic. An absolutely fantastic service from start to finish and extremely professional. Everything was explained in detail and the procedure was painless and not hurried at all. I received my results via email the same day.
