I would like to express my sincere thanks to the staff in the A&E department at Kingston Hospital for the outstanding care I received.
From the moment I arrived, the team was professional, kind, and compassionate. Despite how busy the department was, the doctors, nurses, and support staff remained calm, attentive, and respectful. They listened to my concerns, kept me informed throughout my treatment, and made me feel safe and well cared for.
I truly appreciate the dedication, hard work, and commitment shown by everyone in A&E. Thank you for the excellent care you provide to patients every day. Please pass on my gratitude to the entire team.
This morning, I was taken to Kingston Hospital after having a seizure during my sleep. Before leaving, I just wanted to express my sincere gratitude to everyone who looked after me.
From the paramedics who brought me safely to the hospital, to the doctors, nurses, and even the lovely lady who served breakfast, every single person treated me with such kindness, compassion, and professionalism.
Your care made a frightening experience much easier to face, and I truly felt blessed to be in such good hands. Thank you all for everything you do. Your dedication and kindness mean more than words can express.
With heartfelt thanks,
Jeú Pereira de Moraes
I recently attended Kingston Hospital for an endoscopy on Saturday, and I wanted to thank the amazing staff and doctorwho looked after me.
I was extremely nervous and scared before the procedure, but from the moment I arrived, everyone was so kind, friendly, and reassuring. The doctor, nurses, and support staff took the time to explain everything clearly and made me feel comfortable and at ease throughout the whole experience.
The care I received was outstanding, and I couldn’t have asked for better treatment. Thank you to all the staff at Kingston Hospital for your professionalism, compassion, and excellent care.❤️
It was over a year ago now but I spent over a week in Kingston hospital for a severe infection. I still remember how incredibly kind and caring the staff were, how knowledgeable and personable the consultants and ultimately the surgeon. The follow up district nurse care was equally exemplary. They are a fantastic hospital and I feel v grateful they are my local one.
Nothing but a positive experience. Recently had to go to a&e with my teen son. Were told it would be a minimum 4hrs wait. We were triaged within 15 minutes, sent immediately to UTC and seen & treated within 2hrs.
Staff were friendly, supportive and highly efficient! Thank you for looking after us so well.
The prenatal care I received at Kingston Hospital, particularly from midwife Ana, was excellent. She was supportive, attentive, and made a real difference throughout my pregnancy - we’re very grateful for her care.
Unfortunately, the experience during labour and afterwards was far less positive. The triage process when I went into labour was very poor. I had opted for an outpatient induction, but we were kept in hospital with minimal attention beyond occasional monitoring. During this time, my baby became distressed, which ultimately led to an emergency C-section.
The surgical team, including the consultants and anaesthesiologist, were outstanding and handled the situation with professionalism and care, for which I’m very thankful.
However, postnatal care was again disappointing. Due to a change in catchment areas, we were transferred to another hospital that provided only minimal support because I had not given birth there. This handover felt abrupt and poorly managed, adding unnecessary stress during an already challenging time.
Overall, while there were some excellent individuals involved in my care, the lack of continuity, particularly during labour and postnatal care was a significant issue. In hindsight, I would not choose Kingston Hospital again for this reason. I believe it’s essential that care is consistent and that patients are properly supported through to full discharge, rather than being transferred primarily for administrative reasons.

I would like to leave a very positive review for the paediatric A&E department at Kingston Hospital. My son started reception in September 2025 and has picked up many infections and viruses since then, so we have had to visit A&E on several occasions. Every single time we have been treated really well, with care, attention and professionalism from the whole team.
I would especially like to thank a nurse who was on shift yesterday, 28/06/2026, between 10:30am and 2pm. I unfortunately don't remember her name, but she was exceptional with my son, very attentive and kind. I also noticed that she treated every family she saw with the same good humour and friendliness, which makes such a difference at a time that is already stressful for parents.
Thank you so much to the whole paediatric A&E team for always taking such good care of the children and their families. THANK YOU ALL!!
Re my appointment this week with Vascular Consultant Ms Kate Stenson…what can I say! A truly warm, empathetic, supportive, surgeon who restored my lost confidence after a worrying diagnosis a year ago. At last I feel in safe hands and cannot thank her enough for those priceless qualities.
