The receptionist behaviour is too bad . The dentist was very good. She explained everything and said will put it through reception so that I can book the appointments accordingly. The receptionist was so rude that I got pissed off and got the appointment cancelled. As if she is doing a favour to me giving an appointment. I am paying for all the services it’s not free . So you need to replace this receptionist may be you might or might have lost other clients like me … all the best
had a great experience with Celia Dorado Pozo. She re-cemented my bridge perfectly and made sure everything felt comfortable and secure. She also took the time to carefully check my other teeth and pointed out areas that may need attention in the future.
What I really appreciated was that her recommendations felt honest and genuinely necessary, without any pressure. I’m very thankful for her thorough and professional approach. Highly recommend!
I really recommend Gorgie dental practice. Clean, efficient, friendly staff and dentists. I will copy and paste a review I left for my dentist on their feedback questionnaire.
I am an EXTREMELY nervous patient and always need specialist treatment & sedation for extractions. I was incredibly nervous about my appointment but Aitana put me at ease, understood and sympathised that I was very nervous. She removed 2 teeth very quickly and I barely felt it. I only felt 1 tooth being removed due to the sensation of pressure during the pushing and pulling which is expected. I didn't feel the removal of the 2nd tooth and was so surprised when she said they were both out. Aitana and her dental assistant worked very well together and were very understanding, kind and compassionate which is something I really appreciate. A dentist sympathising and understanding my level of anxiety is imperative for me.
I had such a positive experience with Aitana and her assistant that I've agreed to let Aitana extract my back teeth which is something I have never allowed a dentist to do and never ever thought I would ESPECIALLY my back teeth without sedation. Many dentists have tried but failed due to my need for sedation. The only reason I agreed to let Aitana remove my back teeth is because I had such a successful and positive experience with Aitana when she removed my front teeth. Aitana knows that due to a severe dental phobia and persistent extremely bad health has led to extreme deterioration of my teeth and now they need lots of restorations. Chewing food properly is really difficult for me which makes eating hard and unenjoyable and more of a task with many restrictions. Aitana knows my teeth have had a severe negative impact on my confidence as I'm so ashamed of my teeth and it's affecting my self esteem badly. I feel Aitana really understands me and my situation and will do her very best to repair my teeth as best she can, improving my confidence and ability to chew and finally smile. I'm very grateful to have Aitana as my dentist. Thanks
I had one of the worst dental appointments of my life at the Gorgie Road dentist clinic. The dentist only carried out one X‑ray and nothing else, yet a month later the receptionist called me claiming they had done three X‑rays and a teeth cleaning, and that I now needed to pay for it.This is completely untrue none of that work was done except one X-ray. The level of organisation and professionalism is extremely poor, and the way they handle patient records and charges is unacceptable.I left feeling frustrated, unheard, and genuinely shocked.
I would not recommend this clinic to anyone.
Mehdiya Haider was excellent, professional, thorough, and very reassuring. She took the time to properly assess my tooth, explained everything clearly, and identified the problem straight away.
After a previous poor experience elsewhere, the difference in care was unbelievable. I felt listened to and confident I was in good hands. I would highly recommend her.
had the best experience at Gorgie Dental. I came in as an emergency patient because my tooth was very painful and I could not sleep. I did not know how to explain everything, but the doctor was so kind, caring, and patient with me. She explained everything clearly and made me feel comfortable. I am a seriously anxious patient when it comes to the dentist and I started seeing Celia, wow she’s amazing! Goes through everything that needed done, doesn’t rush and is constantly making sure I’m ok during my appointments! So glad I’m slowly getting over my fear because of her. Not a lot of dentists have the patience for people with severe anxiety but Celia definitely does. The practice is lovely and so is reception staff. They always send an email/text or give a call to remind you of appointments.
