We visited for our daughter’s 8-week check-up and vaccinations. The whole experience was very positive. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the doctor was patient, gentle, and explained everything clearly. They made sure our baby was comfortable throughout. We are very satisfied with the care we received.”
I am very frustrated with how you have treated me over the last couple of weeks. I have a regular appointment with Nicky to review my medication, when I had my appointment Nicky said the system wasn't open to book my next appointment for May and asked me to call and book myself. I therefore called later in the week to to book and was told by the receptionist that the system was not open yet. And to call back next week. I therefore called today and was told that you no longer take phone appointment. I was then told I would be sent a link to make an appointment. I explained that this wasn't a doctors appointment and was told that I had to use the sent link. I am really frustrated that not only is it difficult enough to get an appointment but you have now removed access via the phone call. Which I was told to book by two of your employees last week. You must of been planning on removing phone access longer than a week. It is unacceptable that your staff were informing people last week to call this week knowing that the phone service was going to be removed. This whole situation is the fault of your system not being available to book 4 weeks in advance. I therefore want my appointment to be booked with Nicky the pharmacy practitioner for the week of the 18th May. Also a simple system need to be implemented so regularly appointments can be booked at the time of the of the current application. Only allowing to book 3 week in advance is not acceptable. I look forward to your reply. James Glynn
Review Update: My positive experience with Dr. Ruth Clery remains unchanged; she continues to provide excellent care. However, my experience with some of the reception staff has been very disappointing. I have called multiple times, including two consecutive days about running out of my medication. Given my health conditions, it is critical that I receive my prescriptions on time. Despite being told on several occasions that this would be addressed, nothing has been done, which is extremely concerning. I’d also recommended that certain receptionists don’t speak to their patients who are being nice with attitude.
I have been registered with Country Park Practice for many years and overall my experience has been positive. While there have occasionally been challenges with consistency in support from some doctors and reception staff, these have not taken away from the good care I have received from the practice as a whole.
My main GP, Dr Ruth Clery, has always been exceptionally supportive, polite, and thorough. She takes the time to listen, explains things clearly, and makes me feel comfortable and reassured during appointments. She knows my medical history well, which makes a real difference in how my care is managed, and I have complete confidence in her clinical judgement. I also have a slight soft spot for her, as her kindness, consistency, and genuine care truly stand out.
Although it isn’t always possible to see her, when I do, I feel genuinely heard and well cared for. Her consistent professionalism and kindness are greatly valued, and she is a real credit to the practice.
I was seen by one of the practice nurses for a blood test, I always have problems when having a blood test, the nurse listened to the problems encountered and managed to take the necessary blood test without any discomfort to me I also had another health concern which I spoke to the nurse about and she was able to give me guidance and provide suitable resources for me to use. Overall I had a good appointment with a very caring nurse. and I did not at any time feel rushed.
I’ve always received an excellent service from this practice, especially with Dr Cleary. She has always been professional and giving me extremely good advice. I highly rate her abilities.
I did attend the appointment for 10.30 for a blood test with the nurse. I arrived at 10.15 and booked in. At around 10.50 I asked at reception how long it might be before I was called. I was told I would be next. At around 11.00 I approached reception again as could not wait any longer. I asked for blood forms to go to Purley Hospital on another day. At about 11.10 (still not called) I left with forms and no explanation or apology of any kind.
My experience of the practise and people working there (I won't go into detail and events) has been of this calibre for some time. I am warned that bad manners and lateness will not be tolerated from patients and yet am not afforded the same courtesy.
Humanity has left the building.
I was very impressed with my first visit to surgery and in particular Dr Clery. I find her interpersonal skills impecable and extremely helpful to my needs. I am very grateful to have such knowledgeable doctor close by.
