Excellent Hospital and the support given to my wife in the Gynaecology Department was superb thanks to the warm, helpful and dedicated staff who genuinely cared about her problem.
The only negative part is that we arrived an hour early and despite driving around for 45 minutes, could not find a Disabled Parking Space so ended up parking on Double Yellows on a blind Spur to front Car Park, with Blue Badge Displayed, and causing no obstruction, we returned to car 40 minutes later to find a Parking Ticket on the windscreen, On contacting Hospital Parking Company we were informed that the right for Disabled Drivers to Park on Double Tellows does not exist on private Hospital Property and Tickets would be issued and penalties ruthlessly enforced.
So sad that a revenue hungry Parking Company can sour our experience of an otherwise wonderful Hospital with such dedicated and caring staff.
I recently had surgery at Aintree Hospital and I can’t thank the staff enough for the care I received.
The staff in Forward Waiting A were absolutely lovely and made me feel so comfortable from the moment I arrived. The anaesthetists were incredibly kind, caring and reassuring, which really helped calm my nerves before surgery.
When I got to recovery, all of the nurses were so kind, helpful and attentive. Every single person I dealt with from start to finish was warm, caring and professional.
Having surgery can be such a worrying experience, but the amazing staff at Aintree made me feel safe and well looked after throughout. Thank you all so much for your kindness and excellent care.
This is a good hospital. Despite the nationwide delays and shortage of funds and we'll documented issues with NHS services tbis place has hardworking dedicated workers and is always clean and organised despite it being overwhelmed with people. The facilities are good..plenty of cafes and spaces to sit and wait.. plenty of signs...some outdated areas and newer areas. Plenty of toilets and hand sanitiser stations. Parking quite difficult to be honest.. lifts could be improved. Cleaer updated directions signage.
Had an unfortunate incident which resulted with a stay in hospital ward 17. The ward was so clean the staff helpful and kind nothing was too much trouble. As far as hospital stays go it was the best I have experienced.
Aintree Hospital ENT - absolute heroes!
Scary post-tonsillectomy bleed in the night. From A&E to theatre, everyone was fast, calm and incredibly kind. The three ENT doctors, nurses and ward staff were outstanding – I felt safe the whole time. Can’t thank the team enough for saving the day (and me!). True lifesavers.
I have been going to Aintree Hospital for the past two years attending the eye clinic under Dr Kuma. What marvellous treatment I have recieved, all the staff are absolutely superb the service is very efficient and all of them are very pleasent. I can highly recommend this department. Many complain about the NHS but I can only speak highly of the staff. Well done everyone. Keep up the tremendous work you all do. Even down to the friendly receptionist. Just wonderfully all of you.
I would like to thank the dr and nurses on majors/ trauma, on 29th December 2025, my mum was brought in by ambulance she was very poorly the dr sat an explained how poorly my mum was and started treatment straight away the nurses where very empathetic and treated my mum with the upmost dignity and respect sadly my mum passed away 2 hours after arriving my mum could not of been in better hands. I’m so happy that I was with my mum until the end .
I was referred to the A & E department a few weeks ago after getting an emergency appointment at a local medical centre. I wasn't looking forward to a long tiring wait assuming id be there for hours.... I actually was seen promptly by medical staff, had xray, diagnosed and went home with medication within a few hours. I left aintree hospital feeling very grateful and extremely thankful to all the staff who helped me that day
