I cannot recommend this hospital highly enough. From the moment I arrived, the entire experience was professional, organised, and reassuring. Every member of staff I encountered was kind, caring, and genuinely invested in my wellbeing. The surgeons, nurses, and support staff took the time to answer all of my questions and made sure I felt comfortable and informed throughout the process. The care I received before, during, and after my gastric sleeve surgery was exceptional, and I always felt that I was in safe hands. The staff were incredibly supportive and made me feel comfortable every step of the way. I travelled there on my own, but Mustafa was phenomenal, hands down. He made sure I was comfortable at all times and was always just one phone call away whenever I needed anything. Having that level of support made such a difference and really put my mind at ease. The hospital was clean and communication was excellent, and any questions or worries I had were answered straight away. The care I received before, during, and after surgery was outstanding. Everyone ensured your health and safety was a top priority! I’m so grateful to the entire team for making what could have been a stressful experience feel calm and positive. When I made the decision to travel from Australia to Istanbul to have the gastric sleeve surgery I made an enquiry with Istanbul Obesity Center. I was immediately made to feel not just like a patient but part of a very special family. Leading up to my departure date the communication was on point. I coupled my trip with dental work for both myself and my husband and the coordination was second to none. Mustafa, our coordinator, instantly made me feel like family and a strong trust was built. To go to another country and have someone speak on your behalf for such a vulnerable surgery can be such a scary thing to do. However Mustafa made sure I felt comfortable, safe and heard.
