Avoid Cosmopolident Clinic at all costs. My experience with this clinic has been extremely distressing and deeply disappointing. What initially appeared to be a professional dental service quickly turned into a situation marked by pressure, lack of transparency, and conduct that raised serious ethical concerns. I originally returned to the clinic because complications had developed with implant-supported dentures that were placed there several years earlier. As a patient, I expected a careful and professional evaluation of the problem and a fair discussion about whether the complications might be connected to the original treatment. Instead, the situation quickly shifted toward demands for additional payment. One of the most concerning aspects of my experience was the way documentation was handled. I was asked to write and sign a handwritten statement in circumstances that were extremely stressful. I was in a foreign country, faced with an unexpected financial demand, and did not have the opportunity to calmly review the situation or seek independent advice. Despite this, the clinic later presented this document as evidence of a fully voluntary financial commitment. In my view, there was a significant lack of transparency regarding warranty coverage and financial responsibility. Rather than conducting an objective assessment of whether the complications might be related to the original treatment, the explanation I received focused on attributing the problem solely to a “long-term imbalance in the dentures.” This was presented as the only explanation, without any meaningful discussion of other possible causes. Equally concerning was the way the disagreement was handled. Instead of a calm and professional attempt to resolve the matter, the discussions involved pressure, attempts to shift responsibility, and communication that I experienced as intimidating. At times the behaviour of staff felt unprofessional and dismissive of legitimate concerns regarding the outcome of the treatment. I was also surprised by attempts to involve third parties financially, with pressure being placed on someone else to make payment on my behalf despite there being no clear legal basis for such expectations. Following the clinic’s public response to my review dated 4 March 2026, I must also clarify that their version of events is incomplete and in several respects misleading. The document they rely on was written under significant pressure and cannot reasonably be presented as a freely negotiated agreement. I retain my own documentation and correspondence relating to this matter and am prepared to provide it if required for an independent and objective review. My review reflects my genuine experience as a patient and has been written in good faith. I believe that people considering dental treatment abroad should research clinics very carefully and fully understand how potential complications may be handled years after the original treatment. Patients deserve transparency, professionalism, and medical integrity. Unfortunately, based on my experience, I cannot recommend this clinic.
