I had an appointment with Dr. Karen Palmer and I was very unhappy. She was 40 minutes late and as a result was in a hurry during the appointment, she didn't listen to me at all, didn't help me in any way and didn't prescribe the medicine I needed. I will never go to this doctor again. This clinic always has good and friendly doctors, they are attentive and treat well, but unfortunately not today
Excellent thorough doctors. Been going there for years. Dr Rice saved my wife’s life. Dr Powell dealt promptly and kindly with an emergency with my teenager when she couldn’t breathe. Can’t rate them highly enough. I’ve always found the staff to be very friendly also.
Except for one Receptionist, Marie-Louise, I find the Receptionists have no empathy for patients, they act like robots.
You cannot get to speak to a Doctor to explain your situation . All I needed was a repeat prescription of medications that I have been on for years, I have no other reason to see a doctor. I had recent blood tests via my cardiologist and had them forwarded to the clinic, all other tests showed clear, proof of which I could provide to the GP, but they just leave notes on the computer system for the Receptionist to relay back , in my case saying , no appointment, no prescription... It's all about bringing in the money... Disgraceful
A previous encounter with a Receptionist here when trying to make an appointment to have four stitches taken out following a visit to A&E and told to have the GP take them out within seven days, I was told that the Doctors don't like to do that and to go back to A&E !!
I stopped attending this clinic years ago due to unpleasant experiences even though I only live down the road from it. Recently I had no choice but to go back as my own GP was receiving chemotherapy. The doctor I saw wouldn't give me my normal prescription and told me to go back to my own GP even though he was receiving treatment and was unavailable. I went as I had an issue and was fobbed off and told it was nothing. I returned to my own doctor today and now have to be referred onto a symptomatic clinic with a larger problem due to this doctor not taking me seriously. They also charge more than most other practices for a poorer service in my opinion. I won't return here again regardless of the handiness of the location to my house.
The Park Clinic team, particularly Dr. Ahmed Alkhelefawi, is exceptional. Dr. Ahmed is not only a skilled and brilliant physician but also a genuinely wonderful person. He is polite, supportive, and embodies human values. I highly recommend visiting him; it's an experience worth advocating for.
Try the Laya clinic in cherrywood instead, or other options in Rochestown
Long wait times, staff that seem annoyed to have to deal with you.
I asked for a copy of my prescription which was never sent to me.
A clinic of last resort. But they staff seem fine with that.
Dentistry fine but in my opinion a bit rough.
Marie is very rude. She was just not ready to listen whn i was trying to explain my situation. I am having back ache issues and the park clinic issued me a medical certificate but i didn't know that we can also get social welfare form to recover some payment which i am spending on my treatment - GP consultation, physio and for medicines. I rang them to send me the form for theperiod when park clinic issued me a medical certificate and they said you have to come in to the clinic to see the doctor. I explained them i cant come because i have got pain but they dont understand. I will have to pay them again just to get the social welfare form. I already paid GP consultation to park clinic when they issued me medical certificate. Marie just hung up my phone without understanding the whole situation.
