This is by far one of if not the best hospitals in Dublin. Upon arrival to the Mater A & E, I felt an immediate sense of relief. Triage was prompt and average wait time was 5 hours. Triage nurse was transparent about that and as soon as I got into main hospital and was assessed by a gentle giant male doctor who was absolutely lovely, things moved swiftly. Due to a suspected blood clot, I had full blood count, ECG, Chest X Ray and physical exam done within 1 hour.
