I had such a positive experience with my dermatologist and the entire team at Adare clinic Dublin. From the moment I walked in, I was made to feel completely at ease. The receptionist is incredibly warm and welcoming, which really helps create a calm and friendly atmosphere right away.
Dr. Joachim J. is not only highly professional but also genuinely kind and attentive. He takes the time to listen, explain everything clearly, and makes sure I feel comfortable and confident throughout each visit. It’s clear that he truly cares about his patients.
Overall, the clinic has a very reassuring and comfortable environment, and I always leave feeling well looked after. I would highly recommend Adare clinic Dublin to anyone looking for compassionate and excellent care.
I had a very positive experience with Dr. Joachim Jansen regarding a mole removal today. He explained everything clearly beforehand, which made me feel at ease. The procedure itself was quick and completely pain-free, and I appreciated how often he checked in with me throughout. Overall, I felt well cared for and informed.
Highly recommend. Very knowledgable and friendly staff. Saw Dr Yansen, he explained my condition and provided a long term treatment plan. Happy to have come across the clinic.

I had a very disappointing experience at this clinic. My skin was only looked at briefly under a camera, and I did not feel that any proper investigation was carried out into the actual cause of my condition. Instead, explanations were given that felt dismissive and speculative, such as blaming fabric for the rash, which did not reflect what I was experiencing. I was then offered multiple medications, including stronger steroids and an immunosuppressant, without what I felt was a careful or thorough assessment. I left feeling unheard and inadequately evaluated.
I am quite disappointed with my experience at this clinic. Before booking the appointment, I clearly confirmed over the phone whether the consultation would be eligible for insurance reimbursement and was assured that it would be treated as a consultation fee.
After the visit, I received only €60 reimbursement as the consultation was registered as a GP visit. When I followed up, I was informed that all doctors are on the general register and not consultant registered meaning only partial reimbursement is possible.
This crucial information was not communicated clearly upfront despite me specifically asking about insurance coverage. As a result, I was charged a consultant level fee while receiving only GP-level reimbursement.
Transparency around fees and insurance eligibility is extremely important and unfortunately, this was lacking in my experience.
My teenage daughter saw Dr Jansen last week for a painful rash on her face and eyes that had been misdiagnosed by the last doctor we saw. We managed to get a cancellation appointment which we were so grateful for. Dr Jansen was amazing with my daughter. So kind and thorough. The treatment he prescribed for her started working straight away and she is already 90% better! Her confidence is back! Thank you so much Dr Jansen
