If I could give 10 stars I would. What a fantastic, well run and compassionate hospital we have at St Luke’s. I have never experienced so much care and compassion before in my 62 years. The staff, both at the main hospital, at at the Oaklands Lodge can’t do enough for you. Cancer is a horrible disease, but a wonderful place like Dt Luke’s Hospital, Rathgar makes life so much more bearable. Thank you

Beautiful hospital grounds, well tended Gardens & water feature garden with private wooded area to stroll. Watching wildlife, squirrels, foxes etc on grounds lifts the spirits. Staff are amazing, food is best I've eaten in hospital environment & restaurant is the cheapest I've eaten in, albeit is same food as served on wards, but tasty none the less. Would benefit from some modernisation to building internally, gives nursing home vibes.

So sorry for the delay in writing this long overdue post. We stayed in St Lukes Hospice, Oakland Lodge in January 2025. We have been traveling to St James’s every weekday for several weeks and we were exhausted, mentally physically and emotionally. From the moment we stepped inside the door of the Lodge, we felt genuinely welcomed and supported in every way. Nothing was impossible! The staff are absolutely amazing! They listened, comforted and offered all kinds of help when we most needed it. We can’t thank them enough for “walking and sharing some of road” when we felt so weary. Thank you Paul and all the wonderful staff. You are heaven sent. Tommy & Paula

I want to compliment the lovely lady at reception yesterday. She was so kind and put her hands on mine reassuring me that all would be well. Then I met Dr Salib who is such a kind gentleman. My Mum died in St Luke’s from breast cancer so I was dreading going back there, but the lovely people made the visit easy.

Wonderful place. Doctors, Radiologists, nurses and staff are so professional, kind and helpful. They go out of their way to minimise the stress in attending daily treatment.
