Fergal is a fantastic physiotherapist! I came to him with lingering issues from shoulder surgery 8 years ago — I used to wake up every morning with no feeling in my arm or hand. Thanks to his expert care and clear guidance, that issue is completely gone. He’s professional, friendly, and really knows his stuff. Highly recommend!
I went into Fergal after years of neglecting my body whilst playing sports.. issues almost everywhere we looked. Ive moved onto road running now which at times looked like it might not be possible. Fergals knowledge and positivity is second to none. I have a great understanding of my body after many sessions over the past few months. I couldnt recommend someone any higher.
I recently visited Ranelagh Physiotherapy Clinic and was thoroughly impressed with the level of care and professionalism I received. The clinic is well-equipped, and the staff are incredibly knowledgeable and attentive.
A special shoutout to Patrick O'Flaherty, who provided exceptional treatment. Patrick's expertise and compassionate approach made a significant difference in my recovery. His extensive experience and dedication to patient education truly stand out. He took the time to explain each step of the treatment and ensured I felt comfortable and informed throughout the process.
I also want to commend Larissa, the receptionist, for her warm and friendly demeanor. She made the entire experience seamless and welcoming from the moment I walked in. Larissa's efficiency and positive attitude greatly contributed to the overall pleasant experience.
I highly recommend Ranelagh Physiotherapy Clinic to anyone in need of top-notch physiotherapy services. Patrick O'Flaherty and Larissa are true assets to the clinic, and their commitment to their patients is evident in every interaction.
I was suffering with really bad knee pain. I had an MRI and the doctor recommended I find a “good physiotherapist”. I came to Ranelagh Physio after a friend recommended the practice. I’m glad I did. I’ve had just three visits, and the difference is unbelievable. Fergal picked up on my issues straight away and we have been working on correcting them over the last few weeks. I’ve had manual work, dry needling and been working on great exercises which Fergal explained really clearly. When I came to the clinic my main aim was to try and get rid of the pain. Now I’m almost thinking about running again in the future! Would recommend Fergal 100%.
Going to Betul for a few years now from her old clinic but I’ll follow wherever she goes as she’s really the best in the business
Really helped me with my chronic back pain
Nine months ago, I walked into the clinic with a hip issue that caused significant pain while walking and sitting.
I was under the care of Fergal who following a thorough assessment was able to identify the cause of my problem, which was gluteal tendinopathy.
I received various treatments such as manual therapy & dry needling. Fergal always explained everything in a knowledgeable, patient & warm manner.
He also provided me with a clear exercise plan including videos to follow in between sessions.
The treatments & exercises did bring some relief but not the expected rate of improvement in my pain levels or range of motion. Fergal insisted that I get an MRI scan done to see if something else was causing the pain so different treatment options might have needed to be explored.
The scan didn’t only confirm the gluteal tendinopathy, but also revealed other issues that required an injection and different set of strengthening exercises.
Three months on, the hip has been responding well to the combination of these treatments. I'm back to pain-free walking/jogging, able to sit comfortably for at least 2 hours and the affected areas have been transformed into a much stronger version altogether.
During this long, difficult- and at times frustrating- journey, Fergal's expertise & support have been invaluable.
His approach strikes a fine balance between
a) providing high level of care in a dedicated & human way and
b) leaving a patient to their "own devices" when one must be disciplined & put in the hard work per the guidance of an exceptional physio.
Ailbe and the entire team (I've been attended by three separate physios to date) offer the best possible attention to detail. I continue to receive expert care after complex foot surgery and I'm back walking, thank goodness. The best possible help both for your head and your physical issue, which gave me the confidence to work with them and get on the road to recovery.
The surgeon highly recommended Ailbe and I can see why. They are out the door with business but have always given me the time I need to get me to where I need to be along the road.
This service extends across everyone in the business; Kim at 'front of house' has always made sure I've been looked after.
