A perfect experience from start to finish.
Nick is very knowledgeable, experienced and skilled at what he does, he explained the treatment very well to me.
He made sure to let me know after every appointment that he was on the phone or email if there was any worries or if I had any questions, but I had no issues at all throughout.
I got a bridge, veneers and composite bonding, all of the treatment I received was beyond expectations and I am thrilled with the results and my new smile.
Nick and Iza were always a pleasure to talk to and they would put anyone at ease.
Ashley in the lab also done a really good job at making the teeth look really natural.

Dr Stephen Taylor and the team at the dental practice are amazing. From consultations to procedure everything was a breeze and the staff are so welcoming. Every option was explored before hand and explained in such detail it made decisions clear and easy. Cannot recommend this practice enough.
Disappointed by the lack of communication and empathy. I went through several months of Invisalign treatment at Portobello Dental Clinic. While the practice itself is well-run, my experience with the doctor left me frustrated.
Results did not track as planned, which was acknowledged during my last review. However, rather than showing understanding, the response was to place full responsibility on me, with no acknowledgment of the poor communication I experienced throughout or the poor result of the treatment.
I expected a more patient-centred approach from a clinician. A little more empathy and adaptability to the cost of such a treatmenr would have gone a long way.
Update after the review : I have been contacted by the practice manager for a resolution and I was then managed by a different practician. I felt I was finally listened too and my opinion and wish were treated with respect. I am therefore updating the rating to 4.
My advice is to ensure you are confortable with the practician and their ability to listen to you.
Dr Charlotte Kinsella is amazing. She is very patient and knows exactly how to work with kids. My 7-year-old felt comfortable and relaxed during the visit, and she made sure he wasn’t scared at any point. Excellent care and a great experience overall.
Dr Stephen is the best dentist I've ever been to. Friendly, knowledgeable and talks you through everything. You can easily tell he enjoys his job too and would certainly add value to any dental practice. Daniel
Have been a patient of Portobello Dental Clinic for some years now. Impressive Georgian building conversion into high quality clean enivronment with high-end, modern equipment. Front-line staff exceptionally friendly & efficient & use email, text, phone calls for appointment tracking. My treatments have included dental implants, crowns + bridging crowns, replacement of old fillings. There are several Hygienists which means you are more likely to get an appointment. The Dentists are at the top of their profession & I have had no issues with their care & advice
Hi Ii could write a a few thousand words on my experience with portobello dental clinic but I'll try to keep it short. My teeth where in a very bad way that bad I hid them all the time and didn't go out for years with friends or family members my confidence was gone.i refused to go to turkey and the prices in ireland where crazy.. But my wife came home one day and said I found this place in portobello and she had booked me in for a consultation I was so nervous and my teeth where gone top and bottom they where rotten. This is when I met Dr Stephen Taylor and changed my experience forever in a dentist's chair. He was so professional and made me feel so comfortable nothing was a problem for him. I had so much work done over 8 months I never needed 1 painkiller after all the work. I'm so happy with the end result with my teeth I go out most weekend's smile and interact with everyone As for my after treatment with Dr Taylor no words he is the best.He got my life back on track and have never been happier.My two children will be going to Dr Taylor and I have no doubt please God there children will be making appointments with him.Dr Stephen Taylor and your team thank you so much I'm a new man.. And in a strange way I miss not having appointments from someone who was so afraid. Thanks
