Very disappointing experience.
I called because my 10-year-old sister had a swollen, painful tooth and urgently needed an appointment. The earliest available appointment was Monday.
On the day of the appointment, I called to explain that we were travelling from another town and would be approximately five minutes late due to unexpected traffic. I was told that I should have “managed my time in advance”, that being five minutes late was “not allowed”, and that the dentist had to leave to pick up their children. I found this response very unprofessional and lacking in empathy. This was particularly confusing because the notice displayed at reception states that appointments may be cancelled after a 15-minute delay, whereas I had called in advance to advise that we would only be about five minutes late.
The appointment was rescheduled, but when we travelled back the next day, my sister was refused treatment because my complaint and review were “under investigation”. We were never informed of this before making the journey, and my sister, who was still in pain, was left without treatment again.
I tried to resolve this matter privately with the clinic, but instead of discussing my concerns, I was met with accusations of defamation. At no point did anyone acknowledge my concerns or apologise for the way I was spoken to.
I had previously been very happy with this practice and had recommended it to many friends, which makes this experience even more disappointing

I've been going to Onslow Gardens Dental for 20+ years now and I've been singing their praises since day one. Not once did I have a bad experience. Everyone is excellent. Great receptionist who has been there as long as I've been going. She's so good, she'll always try to fit you in if you are in trouble. You rarely have to wait more than a couple of minutes to be seen.
I had an appointment with Clodagh today for the first time for a potential infection. She is fantastic. She was so helpful, knowledgeable, proactive, reassuring, professional, warm and friendly.

After receiving an incorrect diagnosis from a professor and colleagues during a consultation at another "well-known" place, they removed a healthy tooth (which had broken, and I wasn't informed about it, although they knew as they examined it for a long time after removal, even taking X-rays), thinking it would heal normally. They asked me to return in two months, but it became infected. I went back to that clinic due to the pain, a 3D scan revealed a remaining root fragment, and they suggested waiting another month, hoping the inflammation would subside. I decided not to wait and booked an appointment at this clinic. How lucky I was to be treated by Dr. Khaidar! I was very scared, but Dr. Khaidar numbed everything, delicately extracted that small root! I felt nothing at all! When the appointment time came in the other clinic, doctors were surprised, wondering who could perform such a complex operation. They examined the neatly stitched small incision, amazed at how Dr. Khaidar extracted the root without cutting the bone from the side and without harming the sinus! Now, after the professor astonishment, I appreciate your skill a thousand times more!
Best dental place I've ever been. Very nice stuff and doctors , they're great with kids as well, made my kids completely relaxed. The dental hygienists are excellent, best what we ever got and they explain everything.
Heard about Onslow Gardens Dental Practice from a Chemist in Mallow. For years I put off going to the dentist because of a few bad experiences. From the moment I walked in the door I was put at total ease. I was expecting to get a telling off for not going to the dentist in years but the dentist was so nice and was just like doesn't matter your here now and we'll get you sorted. I'm not the type of person to write reviews for businesses but if I realized this practice existed years ago I'd go straight away in a heartbeat. And the prices are reasonable too. Thanks so much folks, if I could give ye 6 stars I would.

I recommend it to everyone!Hi all, went to the dentist on the 12th to see Dr Haidar, I am disabled and he lifted me up in his arms and carried me to the chair and fixed another tooth for me. This is not my first visit to Haidar is a very good doctor such services as carrying me to the chair has not met in any clinic all recommend the doctor!
