I can honestly say that my experience with Joan was nothing short of amazing. I have a genuine phobia where even making the initial phone call sends my heart rate sky high. Sitting in the chair is embarrassing as there are tears, feet shaking, hands quivering & at all times I am a flight risk🙈. Just what every dentist loves😅. But Joan did not dismiss my phobia or rush me, instead she took the time to explain the extensive work I would need. Joan checked with me the whole time to make sure I was comfortable & felt at ease - bear in mind no treatment had happened & I was still a bag of nerves!! I left feeling determined to return, which I did today for an extraction, I was in the exact same state as the initial visit but once again Joan showed such incredible empathy & patience that, for the first time in decades, I knew I could do this & she quickly & painlessly removed the offending object. I have a long road of procedures ahead but I know that Joan will pull me through (pun intended😅)...my phobia will never go but that's OK as Joan has reassured me so much & I am fully confident in the treatment plan & her wonderful clinical & caring skills.
Andrea on reception deserves a mention as she is an absolute gem.
If you’re someone who struggles with dental anxiety, I genuinely can’t recommend this place enough. They don’t just treat your teeth — they take care of you as a person. I am beyond grateful.
I can't say enough positive things about this dental practice. They are just excellent from the lovely reception staff to the dentists themselves. I had an extraction today with Aoife and it was completely pain free. Have been to Joan also for exams and cleaning and she is fabulous also. Couldnt recommend them more.
Kevin has been my dentist for the past 10 years—first at Alexandra Dental and now at his own practice. He is not only an excellent dental surgeon with outstanding training, but also a genuinely warm and friendly person. Thank you, Kevin.
I've had my teeth cleaned by both Evelyn and Sandra. Very kind and considerate people. Evelyn would keep you talking even while your mouth is open. Must be able to understand the different mumbles and muffles. It keeps you relaxed and confident.
Additionally I had a check up with Kevin and it went great. Good man for the chat as well. Id recommend Murphy Dental Clinic to anyone who's apprehensive of dentists as the entire team made you feel calm and informed the whole way through.
Great experience overall with the team at Murphy Dental. Kevin described the process from start to finish and thankfully he did not have to deviate from his original plan. Great man for a chat and is a Munster rugby fan. Would give 5 stars for that alone 😆
I had an extraction friday last with Aoife,it fought her all the way😂...very easy and absolutely painless,went a bit downhill over the weekend (my own fault) saw kevin the following monday and again i was treated with great professionalism,very happy and painfree now,special mention to the receptionist for ringing me back and booking me in when she didnt have too.Great chat with louise the dental nurse,nice relaxed atmosphere,well done everyone,thanks again Aoife and Kevin.

My son had an appointment with aiofe, she was absolutely amazing. Made myself and my son feel at ease as soon as we entered. The receptionist was lovely and very accommodating. Very clean surgery and professional staff. I would highly recommend murphy dental!!!!
I’ve been going to Kevin for years for my Invisalign treatment and now general dentistry too and he is fantastic. He genuinely cares about his patients and is meticulous with his work. Could not recommend him and everyone in Murphy Dental Care more!
